“Absolutely love the wings! Chicken tenders were great too. Also the sweet potatoes fries are to die for. All are super crispy. Also got the lavender honey sauce on the side to try... delicious!!!”

“Disappointed again... I'm a transplant from the Southwest and I've been trying Mexican food around the Berkshires. This misses the mark just like most of the places around here. The restaurant was very nice inside; they did a great job renovating the place and it had a nice atmosphere. There's a small bar to sit at and enjoy a drink and a bite. The food was bland at best. I got the El Habañero plate so that I could sample a few things and give a fair review. Some of the items were only so-so, some were just not very good or were prepared poorly. The good: The plate looked pretty good when it arrived, see photo. The beans needed salt but were pretty good afterwards. The empanada was the best part of the meal, but it's hard to mess up fried dough filled with meat and cheese. That's about where the goodness ends. The not-so-good: The enchilada: It was super dry. They were very stingy with the sauce, and it had very little flavor. Enchiladas should be swimming in thick, flavorful goodness - this had the top barely coated in a weak, thin sauce that didn't even cover the whole top of the tortilla... sad. The tamale: it was so-so, lacking flavor but mostly had good consistency. The worst part was that it was microwaved to be reheated... I know this because its ends were dried and burned and i had to discard them (I've heated up many a tamale in my time, so I know when they get screwed up). That was a red flag - the cooks haven't really been trained well, it seems. The rice: Lastly the rice. Oh man... this was rubbery, bland, instant Uncle Ben's style rice. Not good at all. You could tell by the chemically, preservative taste that lingers with that kind of pre-prepared rice. I didn't finish my meal. Overall, I really wanted this place to be better. Some of the items were almost there, but they really missed the mark on some others. The prices really didn't reflect the quality or flavor that they should have been - just too high of prices for some items on the menu. I really wavered between 2 and 3 stars for this place. I just didn't like the food, but I've definitely had worse in the Berkshires and Pittsfield. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and hope that they improve for future customers, but I won't be coming back.”

“Typical Chinese lunch buffet fare. Nothing special. You would not be disappointed with food preparations if you are looking to fill your belly:) there’s enough Americanized Chinese food selection. This establishment bills itself as Japanese; apart from the sushi, most are Chinese food on the table:) I enjoyed the salad with the ginger dressing :)”

“Very classy and food is DELICIOUS! Definitely fresh and carefully crafted. Spent and hour and a half here, did not feel rushed. Casual dress is acceptable. Waitress was very nice and relatable. New favorite spot in town. Will definitely be back!”

“Yum! So happy to have Door Prize in the neighborhood. Extra happy that they make ordering gluten-free so easy! My nephew said the bacon on the BLT is the best he’s ever had - and I agree! Pair your lunch or dinner with a nice locally made cider, craft beer or delicious wine.”

“I stop there everyday just grab my Cigars for the day (I don't have a humidor 😔). I can't say I have ever had a bad experience, in fact the staff and owners are a delight and I enjoy seeing and talking to them whenever I do. Prices are fair if not lower than Pittsfield, they do have grub in back...Pizza is my go to, the slices are a quarter a pie for maybe $1.50. tasty too. Best store around so far.”

“I was in town for business and leaving on my way to the airport. I stopped to pick up a quinoa wrap that was very delicious and filling. This cafe can best be described as gourmet and they had a great array of ready made desserts. The area is fairly rural, so to find a gem like this was a surprise. I was on the go, so no pictures. If you are staying nearby or passing thru, this is where you want to go for a quick pick up meal or enjoy their cafe. Highly recommended!”

“We needed a 3 prong plug that converts into a 2 prong plug on Sunday afternoon. I have 2 small children and not able to go physically into the N. Adams Carr Hardware. After talking several times to staff on my way to there, John was able to help me by bringing out our plugs car side so my daughter could continue napping. I really appreciate the patience Skylar, John and Betty HD with us. We always support our local Carr Hardware and this is exactly why. Thanks!”
