“I went to Merrill's on an August Friday night, arriving about 7:30pm. There was a 30 - 40 minute wait but once seated, there were no delays. Waitress arrived immediately and was attentive and pleasant. She was helpful with recommendations. Had the wing appetizer that was very good. I had the salmon on a plank, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus. All very good, served at the correct temperature. I washed it down with a chilled glass of Chateau Ste Michelle. We were seated by the window where we could see the fishing boats. Overall a very good meal in a very nice atmosphere. Best of all, it was reasonably priced in my opinion. I would eat there again. Most important, there is adequate parking unlike The Black Whale just up the road.”

“me and my friends went on Sunday if i'm not mistaken , the wings were okay the shots were reasonable so was the food, i have a steak and cheese egg roll and it was just terrible and oily i couldn't eat it and they and to remove it from my bill .. the environment was great..but the bartender which was a older lady while we was getting ready to go my friend was getting his money together to pay for his drink and the lady kept staring and asking when are we going to pay ... remind you we wasn't leaving yet.... we wanted to get some more drinks and every time we take a step or something the bartender would keep asking ... " who's paying "...we watch her while she takes other people order .. while she stare us down ...and didn't even ask others the same questions she was asking us .... i honestly felt uncomfortable because we come into a restaurant to enjoy or Sunday just so we can get grilled on ..;.”

“super cozy spot for brunch or lunch. clean, bright by the window seats and cozy all around! i tried the stuffed scallop and it was delicious with scallop and shrimp and stuffing. we both got the giant lobster rolls which were huge. not a ton of flavor so be prepared to just add you own melted butter and salt or ask for mayo. service was especially good. waitress was managing the bar as well and we were well attended too. very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. would happily come back!”

“Went for brunch during the "Dog Days of Summer" in support of the Fairhaven animal shelter. The staff was extremely friendly, they came out with beds and bowls of water for the dogs, as well as having some menu items for dogs. The food was pretty good, and fairly priced as well. Definitely a nice place to bring the dogs on a Sunday morning. It sounds like they will also have more Dog days events coming up sponsored by Tito's vodka, and Dogfish Head brewery.”
