“If you ever visit Martha’s Vineyard, I definitely suggest visiting the famous Black Dog Cafe. I wasn’t a fan of the wings but the lobster roll, crab cakes and calamari was good. The highlight was definitely the cocktails and the cute mason jars. In terms of decor and ambiance , the space feels homely and cozy with a gorgeous patio. I would definitely recommend coming here for a chill date or afternoon outing with friends or family. The staff was friendly and the wait time was short.”

“This restaurant saved the day, this is an absolute honest review, and I can’t say enough good words about this place. I went to Martha’s Vineyards thinking the food would be top notch!!! Coming from the North Shore Massachusetts I thought seafood would better or similar. I was utterly disappointed with most of the restaurants, and I tried quite a few of them. On the last day, while waiting for the ferry at the Vineyard terminal I walked to Salvatore’s Ristorante. Thank God, the food was amazing, the service was amazing, the place was amazing. If you go to Martha’s Vineyards and don’t go to Salvatore’s you haven’t been anywhere’s. This place is a must try.”

“Every year we take the kids to do this mini golf place right in the center of the island. It is quick and fun and a great family tradition. You can also get great ice cream. Recommend no more than 6 per hole or split your group to keep things moving. There are waterfalls and a cave and if you are adventurous a rock climbing wall in the back. If you get a hole in one you have a 1 in 18 shot of a free game at the end. Do it!”

“After visiting Martha's Vineyard more than a dozen times I felt compelled to try out the Black Dog Tavern. I went with a party of 4 late in the evening on a Saturday and was sat in the center of the restaurant near the kitchen. The interior has both a slight seaside and rustic feel though primarily rustic. Our waitress was unable to answer questions about some of the black dog products like the wine and BBQ sauce seen on the menu and made a few mistakes with the bill at the end but was otherwise pleasant. Food was prepared as described on the menu and was excellent. I am glad to have finally visited this location and would look forward to a future visit.”

Recipes are presented nice in buffett, seems traditional, but not to taste as agreed by other Brazilian nationals.Side items are room temperature and price is acceptable due to area but quality.
