“I love the lattes (watching the staff make them is like watching a work of art being made) and the acai bowls are scrumptious. The entire staff is amazingly helpful and awesome and the atmosphere is great.”

“The coffee flag draw us in but the buttery flavors will bring us back there. (They should write "beautiful buttery breakfast" or something on the flag too) I tried the egg sandwich and my husband ate the Lebanese breakfast, with iced americanos. My egg sandwich was spectacular, I'm sure I will eat another one when we visit the island next time. The croissant was warm and buttery, the egg, the cheese and the extra bacon tasted really good; it was creamy and crunchy and buttery. The hash browns tasted really good too, it wasn't bland like they usually are in other breakfast places, it was soft on the inside and perfectly crunchy on the outside. The Lebanese breakfast was nice too, it had some savory yoghurt and some minty dressing with sesame seeds, it had well rounded flavors. The coffee was on the fruity side of the coffee flavor profile-o meter, it tasted really good. I can only recommend this place!”

“If you ever visit Martha’s Vineyard, I definitely suggest visiting the famous Black Dog Cafe. I wasn’t a fan of the wings but the lobster roll, crab cakes and calamari was good. The highlight was definitely the cocktails and the cute mason jars. In terms of decor and ambiance , the space feels homely and cozy with a gorgeous patio. I would definitely recommend coming here for a chill date or afternoon outing with friends or family. The staff was friendly and the wait time was short.”

“Stopped in for a quick bite before running to catch a bus. Fortunately it wasn't too busy and we were served promptly. I'd say the prices were a little steep for what it is but probably not by the standards of Martha's Vineyard. We had a large salad, grilled cheese, and the quinoa avocado wrap. The salad was fresh and tasty. The grilled cheese was made on nice fresh Texas toast. The wrap was the best part, the shell was very tasty and the ingredients were a nice tasty combination. In short a really nice light snack that hit the spot.”

“Fantastic, great service and GREAT food. Wonderful alternative to the fancy foofoo restaurants. Down home real food and real people. All countertop service. Rachel and Isaac were terrific.”

“Food is good, location is beautiful, but I had the dip (it's a lunch item), and it came with a very small side of bread. For dip, you'd expect it'd be part of the main ingredients. For 16+tax+tip, I now need to find lunch somewhere. There's no table service.”

“I'm here to speak of its bagels...some of the best homemade fresh bagels ever! I love the everything bagel -- 5 days later, it is a little dry but soft - toast it up and its like fresh again. They don't go rock stale like commercial junk. I don't get gaseous from these gluten bagels prob bcs they ferment them properly instead of using crazy preservatives to speed things up. Great paired with some local cheese and honey”

“Good but often crowded location. Have visited a few times over the years and have no real complaints. Its not uncommon to have your order mixed up though its really not a big deal given how many people are ordering at once and how quickly everyone is working. All in all this is a pretty good location worth visiting if you are in the area and are looking for a breakfast stop.”

“I stopped in here for a quick bite after getting off the ferry. They have a good coffee options and plenty of options for breakfast as well. I got avocado toast and a friend got a traditional breakfast. Both were good and enjoyed even more on the open porch looking over the main road. Great for people watching.”
