    We showed up the same night as a local college graduation. Place was packed but waitress was very nice.

    Average bar. Not a lot of variety on tap. Pretzels and beer cheese was tasty

    There are many restaurant type areas in the Amherst. Almost of them are used for social activities as well. They are not just places for eating. They are a social institutions. The Amherst Pub, as i have observed, is different in a sense that many local people used to come here for chat chat. I have seen UMass professors also frequently used to come here on one specific time in a week at least.
