Food and service is great but do not love the renovation of the Natick location. Felt warm and comfortable before and now seems lacking of something. Don’t like that there is now no wall from the top of the booth area up so you’re basically looking right in to the store at clothes and shoppers. Maybe that is something they’ll add back in again later but is a very strange set up.
Wonderful dinner there.
Shocked. Absolutely stellar. Had the gnocchi with a lamb ragu and cheese sauce; the french dip sandwich; bread pudding white chocolate dessert; taco app; and french press coffee. All items shared at table for two. Manager/Maître d' was engaging and confident. Waitress was on-point. it was our inaugural visit to the mall. I am extremely fussy about cuisine, service and quality. My standards are exceptionally high. I was floored. The french dip sandwich had high quality, tender meat. The au jus was perfect. The gnocchi seemed to be pan seared or baked on very high temperature as a final short step. I do this rarely with a cavatti as well. It tasted like I made it. I love Nordy's, and expect great fare at their in-house eateries. This was above-and-beyond. Extra points for heavy utensils and cloth napkins. Extra paper napkins available on request. I've been cooking since I was five years old. Everything matched my own productions in quality. My expectations were exceeded. I'm pretty hard to please, if not impossible at times. I left swooning. I will come to this mall again, just to eat here. It is a pain in the butt to drive to, but I will still return. It was that good. I only stopped at this mall due to horrendous driving conditions on 128 during a rain storm. Guess I got lucky...
I'm hesitant to write a review because I don't want the secret to get out but Bazille is fantastic!!! It's never too busy (probably because it's tucked away) so it's easy to get a quick table when you arrive. The food is always A+. My personal favorite for lunch is the Bistro Club (who would have thought Club sandwiches needed French Green Beans to take it to the next level!?). The food being so delicious may be due to the more limited menu causing the chefs to be in a "Quality over Quantity" mindset. But whatever it is they're cooking, they do a great job. Service is always very good too! Whether you're doing some shopping and in need of a meal, on a break from work, or just looking for somewhere new to try, this is your spot.
Been there twice. Small dishes but very fresh and delicious food tasting very unique. Enjoyed steak and salad. Tried 3 types of salad and they are all very unique tasting can’t be easily found elsewhere. Steak was special too. In Nordstrom 2nd floor.
