Cafe Barada

“They do things the right way here. Delicious, authentic, healthy Lebanese food right on Mass Ave. My family and I have been going to Cafe Barada for over 15 years (used to be in Arlington but only the real ones know that), and have never had a bad meal once. After all these years, the owner still recognizes me and my family.”

“What a lucky find! This place has it all- comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, and most importantly, impeccable food. It was inventive and fun, yet comforting. Each dish was paced correctly, and was complementary to the next. There were new and fun flavors that got you excited for the next bite. Good selection of new and funky (yet delicious) cocktails. Wine pairing was spot on! You definitely get what you pay for here, a good trip to make. Reservations recommended.”

Yummy Thai

Address: 2261 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02140, USA

Restaurant

“Small - about six tables - and very tasty Thai food right on Mass Ave across from the church. We ate an early dinner and were seated immediately. We split a panang curry, which had an excellent flavor. I do wish it was a bit spicier, but my wife thought it was perfect. The Mrs got Thai basil pad Thai for dinner, and I got a rice noodle dish. Each dish had chicken as the protein. The portions were appropriate for the price and everything came out fresh and hot. We'll go back. For two Iced teas, curry, and two noodle dishes it came to just under $50 including tip.”

Sofra Bakery & Cafe

Address: 1 Belmont St, Cambridge, MA 02138, USA

Bakery Cafe Restaurant

“I will admit the food here is delicious. Good quality, tasty, beautiful, but the quantity is absolutely absurb for the high price. I ordered the hummus "plate" which was not at all a hummus plate, but more a bowl of hummus with one tiny roll. After I finished the roll in one bite, I went and asked for another and they gave me one more, which was also gone in one more bite. Then there was a lot more hummus with nothing to eat it on. It was confusing. Anyway, like I said, the food was good, but I left feeling very hungry even though I had spent a lot of money.”

Noodle Stix | Chinese Restaurant

Address: 11 Belmont St, Cambridge, MA 02138, USA

Restaurant

“Don’t be fooled by the facade. It looked like shady to me at first but I gave it a try. The lady was very friendly and efficient. I ordered some takeout meals and they tasted quite good. But the taste could’ve been more authentic. The red bean buns were delicious! The only downside was it was a bit pricey.”
