“Excellent friendly bar staff: Drew, Lexi redhead, and Peter. All have great sense of humor. My only complaint is the loud TV volume during live Boston team events. So if you want to have a relaxing time with your sweetheart, don't go when a Boston team game is scheduled. But if you enjoy live games and want an excellent large pizza, you can order it for only $5 while the game is in progress. This place has a very comfortable bar with well calibrated lighting. One of my favorite local spots. ,”

“Wow!!! Incredible find. Let's start with the pro's... Incredibly diverse menu at a bargain for a downtown restaurant. The staff was attentive and on point. The portions were absolutely the right size. And finally quality was great with every dish. Of the several things we ordered there was still a couple I wish I had tried. I truly had to try to find con's for this restaurant. It's more of a casual and fun lunch spot not entirely a romantic dinner place (not really a knock). Its location is downtown lowell so there is no real close parking. We were on foot exploring the area. But if we were to be driving to go there to dine I think we would've had a walk to get there. We will certainly return”

“Sunday bunch food was good, not great. Our server Janine, although nice showed up to our table to take our order and then showed up again at the end to basically give us our bill. Everything else was brought to our table by other people. We even had to ask a runner to being us cornbread because Janine was nowhere to be found. She wasn't even on the floor, trust me I looked. I don't even blame her for not not doing her job right or simply not caring or whatever her issue was. This is management's fault for hiring people who are just there for the paycheck. Service and quality of food go together so that guests have a great experience. Janine needs to be retrained, period and maybe let's get a new manager in there while we're at it. Thank you to the food runners for checking in and basically doing her job for her. And a big shout out to the other server who had the bridal party and like 6 other tables. She was on top of her game. Wish we sat with her.”

“The other big jazz club in Boston. Musical acts are often world famous and the club is small enough to feel cozy. If you plan on drinking get your order in as early as possible because they only ever have one bartender who works like a madman for the first hour. If the house if full you might have to wait 30+ minutes for your jazzy cocktail. Better yet, buy a drink from one of the bars downstairs and bring it with you. Your table neighbors will be green with envy.”

“The delivery was fast, the food was really warm, and very well packaged. We loved the service over the phone, our house is hard to find and the delivery person just called when he was right outside our door. The food was delicious, nothing was soggy or weird tasting. Everything was very fresh. The miso soup was amazing, the rice, sweet and sour pork (sauce packaged on the side), sesame chicken was all AWESOME. “Colorful ambience on the inside, feels like you're in Coco movie. The place is huge with outdoor seating with lake/River view. Love the food and drinks.. I keep going here often. There's 1 waiter who's too rushy like she's playing the Diner Dash game. It kinda felt like she wanted us to leave soon. Everything was served quickly, even the cheque, and was pushy to order soon. I like to take my own time to eat not that I'm a slow eater but I don't wanna just swallow food n run. it's a fun place to chill with friends. Don't rush us out. Peace!”

There’s enough options on the menu that anyone you’re with can find something they like and every meal I’ve had is delicious! Never even ordered the same thing. Service is almost always excellent and the one time it wasn’t, they promptly corrected it when I politely asked The drink menu is superb - anything you want, they likely have or can make. But I especially love their $5 monthly specials! It can get a little pricey, but considering the food quality and the location, I’d say it’s well wort it.”

“Yummy Japanese and mostly Thai food at this area, beautiful jazz bar and restaurant. They have a pretty broad sushi menu, Japanese noodles and some other Japanese dishes. They also offer quite a few Thai dishes as well. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to visit at night, when Monkfish becomes a #jazzclub.”

“Went to a birthday celebration at the Bancroft in a function room upstairs. What an amazing venue. The appetizers were delectable, and such a varied selection . For the main course I had steak which was an excellent cut and cooked exactly how I requested. The clam chowder and ravioli were enjoyed by all at the table. The other meals including the chicken under a brick, and the tuna were raved about. “We went here for our anniversary and were delighted. We usually go into the city for a good steak but we now know we can achieve this locally. The Federal is a great steakhouse conveniently located in Waltham shopping strip next to Market Basket. Parking is easy unlike the city. The restaurant is well maintained and upscale. Great bar and patio area, which is really great for summer evenings. The service was great. The food was terrific. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended for any occasion.”

“Nicely decorated part of the Feng Shui chain. We had the buffet. Sushi and dim sum were particularly well done. Traditional Chinese was just adequate. Everything was very fresh. Service was excellent,especially for a buffet. J am a tea lover. The tea was delicious. Perfect temperature and served in the traditional style. All in all well worth trying. Buffet on weekends is 17.95 and I believe 14.95 weekdays.”
