Really difficult to make reservation but believe me there is a reason why - the food is just unbelievable amazing. If you are lucky enough to get a table believe me worth the waiting and every penny that you will spend there. Menu is big for the size of the place, many Asian cuisine choices (no sushi) also many vegetarian and meat options. Drinks are great ! The food arrived when is ready so be prepared that there is no first or second . Staff will inform you about this before you order. Prices are Normal for the Nantucket lifestyle. “Wow! The Beet is a wonderful find and a must try destination location! The eclectic menu is amazing and filled with unusual and exciting pairings of ingredients and flavors! The dumplings were delicious and the eggplant roti were incredible appetizers! Anything on the menu that you think you might like, you'll like more than you think. The vibe is very chill. It's a casual, laid-back, cool music, take your time, spot. The service. Ok, in case everything else wasn't already impressive enough, we had Julie as our server. I know that may not mean anything to you, but it will, if you're lucky enough to sit at one of her tables. She's arguably one of the best waitresses I've ever had. She's fun, she's knowledgeable, she's got a fantastic personality, and she's exactly attentive enough. The Beet is not inexpensive, but you will not regret spending your money at such a wonderful spot for such a great experience.. Take my advice, try The Beet. Thank me later. Peace.”

“I sat at the bar since I was on my own. Ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with garlic tots. The sandwich was great, but the tots weren’t garlicky at all, except for a little sprinkle of dried up pieces. I had some great conversation at the bar and met a wonderfully welcoming new friend. It’s a really nice experience.”

“The ambience here sucks. It was so hot and I’m convinced they had no air conditioning and purposely sat us 2 inches from the table next to us. They crammed tables into this place. Regarding the food, it’s good, I mean you get what you order and it’s nothing special. I liked the spread for the Persian breakfast I ordered, you don’t usually see that on breakfast menus. Coffee was fine. The staff was VERY friendly and excited. Almost like too much. Like why are u so excited. But they were nice and I like this place it’s a good place in town to get breakfast. We didn’t have to wait which was nice, but I know usually there’s a long line.”

“Fantastic vide and delicious food at this Nantucet hideaway..nestled in the heart of town. We ate outside on this God-kissed day. Share the Nantucket roll (shrimp tempura, cream cheese and avocado inside with salmon and sweet &spicy sauce on top) then had a poke bowl and fish and chips with truffle fries. Single con was poke bowl was missing rice which would have offset the heat from the fresh jalapeño. Otherwise everything was excellent (even the poke bowl). Definitely get the truffle fries!”

In Oklahoma, we love anything wrapped in unhealthy fried goodness and this was one of the most remarkable dishes I have had in a long time. Wonderful flavor, not heavy but filling. “We had an amazing dinner at Sister Ship. When we walked in I was amazed at how cool the ambiance was. It is lively with a great vibe. The service was excellent. Our waiter ( Nelson) took the time to explain the menu, and chatted about various things happening on the Island. He was attentive and spot on with his recommendations. The food was Excellent. I had the halibut and my husband had the chicken. We also had the roasted carrot appetizer and the kale salad. One thing was better than the next, but the halibut was truly off the charts. Can’t wait to go back for dinner again and for a drink at the bar.”

“Le Languedoc Bistro is a cute and unique french restaurant. The Cheese soufflé melts in your mouth and is worth to try. I really like its soft shell crabs for which I would visit this restaurant again. But I do not like its lobster bisque: I could not find lobster meat in the soup and the herbal taste is too strong. In general, lobster bisque is my favorite and I have had it multiple times while I am traveling in Maine.”
