Harpoon Brewery & Beer Hall

We were debating between Sam Adams and Harpoon and believe we made the right decision with Harpoon. While the tour is $5, you get your money’s worth in the tasting room where they had about 12 different beers to sample for about 10 minutes. It’s location is also much more convenient than Sam Adams if you are traveling north into the city of Boston. The tour was around 50 minutes long. The only thing we didn’t like was that you don’t really feel like you are a part of the brewing process but rather just observing through the windows. Our guides were very knowledgeable, friendly, energetic, and you could hear them easily since they had a microphone. We enjoyed having another beer and pretzel after the tour in their beer hall where they had plenty of seating and fun board games to enjoy.

Even if you don’t like beer, you will have a good time here. I highly recommend the tour, it’s only $5 and you get to sample most of their beers free. They even encourage you to sample and drink up.

I’m a big fan of the ufo big squeeze and ufo White. Perfect for the summer but really anytime.

Also you cannot leave without trying the pretzels. The pretzels are maybe even better then the beers...

Great beer - UFO flight was very refreshing and fruity. Pretzel bites were delicious.

Great atmosphere - big communal tables, board games to play while drinking and great big windows.

These guys are great hosts with awesome beer. I took My dog Nacho to the Dogotober fest last year and it was great. The dogs ran/walked a mile then we celebrated with a free beer and cool little contests. We cant wait for the 2019 version coming this fall 2019. One of the more fun breweries I've been to. They have a huge space and it's always really growded but the two guys that gave our tour were really fun. Mike was super nice at the bar. The have a few different flight options and I live that they have all of their lines on hand not just the harpoon beers. If you go you have to have a pretzel. They are definitely a staple here and something you can't miss out on
