“Sit at the bar and watch the oyster shucking if you can. The 3 patios leave apple room for outdoor seating if that's your jam. Besides oysters, the rock shrimp with green beans or the season tomato salad were fantastic!”

“I celebrated my nomination today in this great place. Well we had a sensational evening and the restaurant was unquestionably one of the reasons for that fruitful evening. The crew cooperated in a lovely style, the cuisine was extremely good and my guests were very joyful. We shall definitely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.”

“Massively disappointed. Took 1 hour to order our main course. By that time, lamb chops were sold out. Slow slow service (I understand post Covid environment, but they need to figure it out). Small menu.”

“Had bottomless brunch with family and friends and it was great!!! It's $21 dollars for as much food as you want per person( kinda tapas style).Fish tacos were absolutely delicious Drinks were very well made. The server was so kind and funny. Definitely going back for dinner at night for the full atmosphere 🤗🤗”

“Amazing service! But we had too many drinks and yummy apps to comment on the mains which looked great and went untouched unfortunately. Very accommodating to the veg and vegan in our group though!”

“One of the yummiest Middle Eastern restaurants in Boston right now. They just opened recently and the dine-in experience is mediocre but the food is delicious. Food made with love and care, good portions, and very friendly husband and wife running the show. Some delicious things are available by request - Kabseh, Knafeh, and more.”

“Excellent French cuisine near the south end. Been to Aquitaine several times and have not been disappointed any of those times. The duck dishes are prepared really well, and there's a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Their dessert selection is full of rich dishes. The chocolate mousse was a favourite of ours. The only thing I'll mention to watch out for is the wait time for food, in the evenings at least, can take a while. The prices are also indicative of a nice French restaurant. Regardless, looking forward to coming back here soon!”

“On recommendation from a friend from Albany, we came here for the wine selection as well as their wonderful steak menu for a birthday dinner. Our service team was amazing. Highly attentive, positive, and helped to create a positive, warm atmosphere. Dessert and espresso martinis were the literal icing on the cake. Thank you for the amazing service and I cannot wait to be back!”

“This restaurant is such a gem. I booked a table for brunch for my birthday, and let me tell you — one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Boston so far. The host staff was attentive and extremely flexible with my large and late party reservation, the food and brunch cocktails were stellar ($1 oysters is definitely a crowd pleaser as well), but honestly our server stole the show. Such a lovely personality, super accommodating, and so patient with us. The space is beautiful, the lemon poppy waffle is a MUST, I could just go on and on. My partner and I will absolutely be back for a dinner date. Can’t recommend enough! Thank you Black Lamb for a great time.”

“Great vegetarian options to choose from and reasonably priced for the South End. The wait staff is very pleasant and attentive. Service was also very fast. Keep in mind that they do have a time limit when seated. The one thing that I would say is a negative is that they put feta on almost everything vegetarian. I do love me some feta but I don’t think it’s necessary for 90% of what we ordered to have it as a garnish. Other than that, cute place, great staff and great food!”

“Honestly just not the greatest dining experience all around. The service was extremely slow, it took us ages to even get asked for our drink orders which then took an additional 25 minutes to even come out and all we ordered was 2 iced coffees. Staff wasn’t very friendly and seemed very all over the place. Cute area but there are definitely places around the corner with much better service”

“Absolutely delicious menu items-there is something for everyone. One of us ordered a vegetarian option, asking for very spicy and it was perfect! Our other meal was ordered as very low heat spice and that need was also met. The very delicate taste buds of our no heat spice friend was exactly that-full of flavor but no spicy heat at all. Employees were all masked and it seemed most patrons were as well, only removing masks when food was served. The restaurant is small and comfortable with a great window and view of the street-lots to watch even on a rainy day. Everyone was friendly and service was perfectly prompt. An all around 5 star experience.”

“We ate outside on a perfect Saturday evening...wonderful, wonderful service...dinner was scrumptious. The rigatoni, apparently on their menu for 20+ years, was out of this world. And I can't say enough about our server, Isabella. She was fantastic.”

“Absolutely delicious!!! PHENOMENAL customer service, food is fresh and tastes great!! The restaurant is beautiful! Overall this Flames is better than all the rest!”

“This place looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but you do NOT want to pass it up. The pizza is phenomenal and they have such a great variety of flavor combinations you can choose from. Their appetizers are a delight. The motz sticks were the best I’ve ever had. They have soft serve ice cream too, which is a lot of fun. They don’t have indoor dining but they do have seating outdoors. They apparently have take and bake pizzas too, which is great! Highly recommend a stop here for some of the friendliest service around.”

“We had 4 appetizers and two entree’s, everything was delicious. The flavors at Elephant Walk are totally our style. Appetizer highlight was the tuna spring roll… I might eat 2 of these next time for dinner. Steak frites were fantastic, very good house made fries. Our server was very kind and professional. Prices are good! Highly recommend”

“I love it here! Not only it's close to home but the baristas are great. Barry is my favorite! He knows my order by heart! Sometimes they have messed up my order but they fix it right away. No pudh back what so ever. They are great!”

“It was okay. The staff was friendly enough. Took a while to get our order in (average level busy) and when the lady finally came to the table asked what we wanted to drink. We just let her know we were ready to order appetizers and entrees. Food was tasty. One of the best parts about the place is the option to eat out in the open space. The music was also great. If you’re Latino/a and you come here they throw on an awesome playlist with the hit songs and throwbacks. Ambiance was very nice with dim lighting and walls splashed with color that remind you of the Caribbean. Drinks are good. Parking is horrendous but I’m not from the city so not used to having to work so hard for a space. Residential parking around the restaurant and found parking at a garage 10 min away.”

“This is, by my standards, A THING OF BEAUTY!!! I get serious cravings for Nicole's pizza and this is why. It's consistently delicious, cooked to perfection and delivered fresh. Nicole's does Greek pizza right!!! (Unlike any other rat traps in the area)!!! I know this is not gourmet, but if you like greek pizza you will be pleased. must try”

“My daughter brought home two dozen of these, the chicken, the beef, and the chorizo. They were all great and the chorizo was my favorite! They are a great size and very filling, we even had leftovers the next day which heated up really nicely in our toaster oven. The sauces were a nice treat too - I didn’t expect them to steal the show but the sauces were a show stopper. I especially loved the garlic. I will be back for more!”

“This startup restaurant is going to do big things in the future. I was greeted immediately by the time I ended in the restaurant and the place while small has a warm feel and it is clean and bright inside. The co-owner gave the menu and knowing what I wanted (curry goat) they got to it quickly. The food was done fast (I got takeout) and by the time I got home twenty plus minutes later, the food was still hot (very hot) which means that the food was prepared fresh and wasn’t sitting under some sort of heat lamp. And the food was delicious, the Curry goat was tender and the fried plantains were sweet, just how I like them. I will very much be returning to the restaurant.”

“Perfect spot for some classic comfort favorites, with some surprising and creative twists! Definitely ask about the waffles of the week, but you can never go wrong with any of their menu items. They have exemplary service, for dining in, take out, and catering.”

“I am so happy to have a place like this in Dorchester. The location is beautiful and offers outdoor and limited indoor seating. Decor is beautiful and it feels really special. Service is really friendly and raw bar is obviously delicious. I will say, their mussels and clam chowder are amazing. The latter is pretty unique and not your average chowder! I would definitely come back although you have to beat the dinner crowd or just know you'll have to wait.”

“Very good ribs: tender, juicy, and flavorful. The slaw was very fresh and tasty. The collards were among the best I've had. Even my wife, who doesn't like collards, really dug them. We'll be coming back.”
