“Ate at Hook & Reel today. Pretty nice place. Food is good, would have love to seen fried whole clam belly’s on the menu though. But all in all it’s a nice place. Staff is really nice and friendly. Liked the staff with the creative eye glasses, pretty neat. I got the scallop boil with noodles and eggs. enormous amount of noodles and scallops. It was like a scallop scampi with boiled eggs. Next time I’m going to try the crab boil. It is a must try. At the end of our meal a man came over and asked us if we enjoyed our meal. Very nice people. I recommend you try it at least once, you might enjoy it as I did.”

“Cool place to go, people are nice, however always ask if they have a tournament or something going on before you pay the cover and controller charges. I payed the cover charges before I was informed they would need that particular gaming station for a tournament. Which forced my friend and I to get kicked off after only barely playing. Just wish we were informed, sort of ruined our gaming experience because of lack of timely knowledge.”

“Had an impromptu dinner here on a Wednesday night, which is good because that’s probably one of their least busy days (it’s still packed). The Manhattan was delightful, I accidentally spilled it a little multiple times and our waiter Matt actually made a little more and brought it to me. He said “you spill, I refill”. Is that not the cutest? Our other waiter Yuri was so sweet and attentive, and overall the service was excellent. That’s part of them charm of this place. The seafood sauté my husband got was AMAZING. My tuna crunch roll was quite good for a non-sushi restaurant! Our clam chowder was smaller than expected but it was delicious. Good place to splurge a little!”
