Cap'n Ron's Fish 'N' Chips

Excellent Fried Lake Superior Trout. Nice light batter. So fresh and delicious. Should definitely make a stop here when in the area. It's the food truck out front.

If you’re looking for some awesome local freshly made fish and chips, this is your place. It’s just a bit out of downtown Munising. If you like fish, I recommend getting the Lake Superior trout. I got the 3 piece Fried Fish Basket and it was a huge portion of fish, fresh crispy French fries, coleslaw, and homemade tartar sauce. They also had a few drinks for purchase or chicken strips. There are picnic tables in front of the food truck and it’s right on the lake. Great spot after a long day of kayaking!

This place located about 1.5 miles from the pictured rock ferry dock. We took the morning ferry and were trying to find a place for lunch. We knew this place from yelp and wanted to try, because by the time most restaurants in town were busy.
We were not disappointed, Fish and chips were quality and awesome. White fish we had was Well smoked and fried. There are are benches you can sit and eat.

Fries were delicious and perfect! The white fish was so fresh! Staff were absolutely amazing. They helped us pack up white fish filet to drive home, so they would last.

Came here for the first time. I thought it was a restaurant but its actually a food truck. The wait was relatively short. I ordered the three piece with french fries and it was veeeeeeeery good! The fish tasted extremely fresh and the pieces were a decent size. Everything was perfect! I would definitely return. I do wish they offered the option for hot sauce for the fish but the tartar sauce was very good.
