Upscale breakfast/lunch place. Food was really tasty. A little pricey, as one would expect from a small, specialty diner in a resort town. Out away from town, and there's parking on-site.

The food was excellent. The prices are in line with the area norm and the staff is top notch. Thank you for a great meal and dining experience. You ROCK!

I’ve been wanting to try Pennyroyal since reading about the Chef. The place is homey and warm, the food is outstanding. I had the corn cakes and cured ham and took some egg tarts to go. It was a very enjoyable experience from start to finish. I just moved to the area and excited to make this my new favorite spot

What a wonderful new addition to the evolving food science in Saugatuck! Delicious food, great service with a smile in a beautiful setting. Don’t forget to go to the Art Gallery Across the lot which happens to be one of the best also.

We both ordered the vegetarian skillet and loved the fresh ingredients and seasoning, a touch spicy. The homemade croutons were perfect. We also tried a blueberry muffin and it was awesome. Coffee was great and generous, and the tea was well worth the price as it came freshly brewed in a pot that filled 3 large cups. Service friendly, nice atmosphere. Everything is shiny new and clean. They use fresh herbs and spices so you will need to ask for salt and pepper if you want it, but try the food first!
