Fresh Basil Cafe

Very cute restaurant - outdoor seating was really nice. Food was mediocre and pricey. Go for pizza before salads.

In town for the weekend, our group of 6 stopped in for a quick bite. The owner was one of the nicest people I've met. She was constantly busy trying to do whatever she could to make our experience perfect; including helping the kitchen make the food when she could. In addition, she made sure to bring us all water first thing which was nice because of the high tempurature.

We walked into Fresh Basil Cafe about seven minutes prior to closing (9pm) but the staff (perhaps the owners?) were very friendly and told us it was no problem at all to order pizzas. We ordered the Margherita for the adults and Pepperoni for the kids. Pizzas were delicious but what really stood out was the friendly service. Other menu items (including a vegan wrap) looked good too and there is a really cute outdoor seating area. We plan to return!

Beautiful and delicious salad in a charming location! The staff was friendly and efficient. We’ll be back!

In a neighborhood full of options, it’s great to have a casual place to grab a quick salad or sandwich. The falafel wrap was great!
