Irene's Pizza

My wife and I were in the area for a few days and heard nothing but good things about the pizza. So naturally we had to try it and it was fantastic!! Definitely believe the hype.

great place to get a pizza. Wish we could have eatin our pizza there, but they may not have been open for seating because it was early in the season. Definetly going back when I bring my son up for achool this summer

Excellent pizza place, with interesting toppings and reasonable prices. If you're going to be traveling with your pizza, make sure you ask for a box not a bag.

Cash only and currently carry out only. That was no problem for me, and the service and staff were all fantastic. But I've given 3 stars simply on the quality of the food. Nothing was "bad", but a just kind of ok flavors. My mushrooms, for example, were canned and lacked flavor. The crust was dense and a but bland.

This place is NOT Cheep. I just want to say that first. We spent almost $50 on 2 Pizzas. They possibly charged us wrong, but we were back at the campground before we figured it out and we were hungry! It is tradition for us whenever we stay at Baraga State park to have Irene's Pizza one of the nights we are there. Well it rained, so it was the perfect reason! I love supporting local places! The staff here was very friendly, as they always are! The pizza was good and hot and LOADED with toppings!
