Skipper's Bar & Grill

We visited on a Wednesday when they had Asian dishes as a special, quite good and the portions were generous for the price. Friendly staff, excellent location! A nice summertime spot to grab a drink and enjoy the view of Keweenaw Bay with some good food! We’ll be back!

We started with fried portabellas, so good! I had the calzone and it was delicious. My husband ate wings, "they'd give Buffalo Wild Wings a run for their money!"
Our server was super friendly, quick and efficient. I believe her name was Sylvia, she was great!
The views of the bay were a pleasant treat. Speaking of treats, the tiramisu was yummy!
And the fries are homemade, best fries ever!
Can't wait to eat here again on our next trip north!

One person taking care of the bar and tables, but she was very friendly and attentive to everyone. Food was very good, the best we've had so far, in the area. The entire establishment was also exceptionally clean. Would definitely recommend stopping in here.

Beautiful hardwood bar facing the lake! There is actual seating if you don't like the bar area. Loved the margarita I had! Food was yummy too.

The food left a little of wanting... just a little bit more care and it could be great.. the batter fried mushroom were great, wish they were whole instead of sliced. The spinach and artichoke dip looked amazing. My cod was not up to par. Come on now I live in Wisconsin (fish fry heaven).
