Busy on Mother's Day and still had great, fast service. We have never been disappointed in their food and try to get something different every time.
My family and I came for Easter brunch. We looked nice, but others were more casual. Neither of us looked out off place, which is very different for a resturant. The interior is really cute and very Michigan. I had the lamb, which was outstanding. We all had the mushroom soup which was creamy, full of flavor and filling. We took home a blueberry cobbler and honesty, didn't even use the ice cream it came with, it would of just distracted from the flavor overall.
Such a perfect spot! The food was phenomenal and so was the staff!! We will definitely be back!
Always great. Always. Had the pulled brisket, garlic fries, housemade coleslaw, pan seared whitefish, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Every bite was absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Great views on the drive to the restaurant, also!
I've tried just about everything on the menu, and it's all very good. Cornbread to start, great local beer selection, and a great menu with lots of daily specials. For sandwiches, I usually go for the Wild Turkey or the American Royal. For small plates, the Texas Toast. For BBQ, I really like the chicken, but it's all good, though kinda drier than I prefer. For large plates, anything Cajun. You won't be disappointed.
