Nola Roux - Casual Cajun Eatery

This Cajun eatery is exactly what my taste buds have been missing! Flavor and seasonings are on point.. I have loved all the dishes I've tried there. My favorite is the shrimp Monica, the toasted bread always hits the spot ???? the service is fast and staff is friendly.

I've got to give an update....
I've been back many times and should comment at the little surprise that I found. not only have I since discovered the kickin Chicken Po boy, but they added a filtered water bottle in the dining room. Would you ever find that at a restaurant? The owner and staff are very friendly, the food is fantastic and this place deserves attention.

Just got their fried shrimp Po’ Boy and seafood gumbo for dinner and it was fantastic!

Bigger portions than I expected which is great since I was really hungry and the flavor in the gumbo was outstanding!

Wow! Amazing food. Unique flavors. We dined in and loved the atmosphere. We had gumbo and bourbon beef po' boy sandwich. The chips too were a highlight. All for a very reasonable price. We will be back!

It's called a "eatery" which describes it perfectly. Really cozy, max capacity of 32 people with really cool NOLA art and decorations all about. They play fun jazz music that really helps set the mood. Reminds me a lot of y trip to New Orleans a few years ago.

[Food]
Very tasty! I ordered the shrimp po-boy which was delicious. Love the sauce they had on it. Got a side of Mac n cheese which was pretty good too. Especially after adding their nice hot sauce. They have a rotating menu so I'm excited to see what they have next!

Definitely recommend this spot! Great for lunch or a dinner with 3-6 friends.
