“First time here, and I would definitely come back. The Eggs Blackstone was delicious. One egg was overcooked, but the flavor of the dish was fantastic. The potatoes were well cooked but very bland and not seasoned. The crepes were good and a lighter option. They have a nice outdoor seating section. The service was friendly and prompt for how busy they were. We had a 10min wait for a table. They have a very nice menu with plenty of options and offer espresso drinks as well as cocktails. If you're looking for a good weekend brunch or breakfast in town I recommend stopping here.”

“I just had such an amazing experience at this place. Five stars for sure. This is the second location. Clean, crisp, vegetable juices, protein, smoothies, ginger, shots, and healthy food choices as well. The decor was simple and clean and the reggae music in the background was a bonus. Three healthful minded staff members took care of me and this place should thrive. Again,a really great experience to grab a healthy juice.”

“I love this Caffè! I come here every Friday (seriously). The coffee is great and the sweets are amazingly good! The raspberry rhapsody is my personal favorite. The staff is super nice and friendly! I’ve ordered a pizza here once and it was delicious. I have never eaten something I didn’t enjoy here! I recommend! 😍”

“Such a refreshing addition to local restaurant options in the area. The taco and rice bowl i had was full of flavor and fresh, great for someone who is vegetarian or vegan (I’m vegetarian). Great drinks to choose from, a wide array of hot sauces, and even great music!”

“My favorite burger place ever! I grew up in St. Joe and have been eating here my whole life. The burgers, fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks... everything is amazing! And I know it takes a while to get your food, but it's fresh and made to order. It is definitely worth the wait!”

“Mexican food isn't my favorite, but their taco salad was made to my liking and I ate it all. Employees r always courteous. And fast. Better than a drive thru.”

“A few nice things about this restaurant: the aesthetics, the set up of the restaurant, the presentation of the food, and the fact that they use fresh chives grown right out front. A few things I was unimpressed with were one of the fish in our order smelled fishy; not a good sign. Another thing I was unimpressed with was our server neglected to take my order because my husband ordered a large order and the server assumed I was sharing with him. We were sitting at the bar, so the chef was there to witness that. He scolded our server rather harshly in front of us, which made us and our friends all feel a little awkward.”

“It's definitely not Barney's Boathouse anymore. I used to go there a lot and loved that place when I lived here. It's more of an upscale feel now. It's still a great location with good food and drinks but it's not cheap anymore. I enjoyed it and would go back but do miss the good old days.”

“A great little Mexican restaurant. Some good traditional meals as well as Americanized standards. The beer is literally ice cold and they have a great selection of tequilas. Meals are large and tasty!”

“There's nothing on this menu you'll be disappointed with. The drinks are poured strong, and the fish dinners are fairly priced. The have battered onion rings are a must have, and I've never had a bad steak. Wonderful views, great location, delicious food, and great atmosphere.”

“The staff were patient while we deliberated, and they were brilliant with the suggestion of a flight of soups. They also pointed us to picnic tables a short drive away with a view of Lake Michigan! Great people, and I always love the soups!”

“Fantastic brewery! Not only were the beers awesome, the food was AMAZING! Highly recommend the Maple Bourbon Sprouts! Staff was fantastic. Our waitress Kelly thought we had waited to long so she had the manager on duty check on us. It was super nice, even if we thought the wait was normal being that it was a bit crowded. I'd definitely be coming back here. Well worth the drive from Kalamazoo!”

“I was here in early April for a wedding party celebration and not only was the food great, but the bartender was the nicest guy! The white chicken chili is also very tasty along with this 221 board - just wish they gave us more bread to capture all of the awesome goat and fig jam toppings.”

“This was our second time at The Terrace, the first time was July 2018. We sat at the bar both times and our bartender was Jason both times. The selection of bourbons and whiskeys is incredible, and Jason is extremely knowledgeable. The cocktails are great, very well crafted with unique ingredients. We will be visiting The Terrace every time we come to St. Joseph.”

“Very much enjoyed breakfast this morning with my love at this quaint cafe . Had a wonderful breakfast. Everything was very delicious served hot and fresh from the coffee to the gravy to the fresh blueberries and everything in between. Our waitress was excellent...She never let my hot, fresh coffee to hit past the middle of my cup and waited on us professionally and above the bar with courtesy. The cashier was a very sweet, caring individual. She fetched my gloves which fell between the cushion and the back of the seat on the floor. Being handicapped, I couldn't get to them. But down on her hands and knees she went to get them...she also went above and beyond the call of duty!! I highly recommend them. With service and food like this, everyone needs to take a lesson in excellence from this cafe!!”

“Ended up at Schu's when another restaurant was too busy and am so happy it happened as it did! The food was fantastic, the server was excellent, and we had a great view of the lake and sunset too! I ordered the Mediterranean Pasta and it was delicious! They didn't skimp on the veggies at all (I was nervous it'd be pasta heavy with few veggies). The pesto sauce and feta cheese were an excellent complement to the dish. Highly recommended! I had a hard time choosing off the menu...lots of variety and prices are decent for a tourist town.”
