“Every time we visit The Whi-Ski Inn it gets better and better! The Smoked Brisket is hands down the best smoked meat weve ever had…and we do love BBQ! The house made sauces are amazing. My favorite are the dry rubbed, smoked wings and drummies. I always have them tossed in the rum sauce. Secret- when ordering the mac’n cheese… mix your favorite bbq sauce in the cheese sauce-DELISH! And our new favorite way to enjoy a great Bourbon….is smoked! See a pattern here?”

“We brought our son and our college friends here for spring break. We had a three bedroom and a two bedroom in building 22. The rooms were super clean and well stocked. The shuttle on the property was absolutely amazing and quick. Unless you want to go off property (which we did to go to Walmart, dinner, airport, etc), you don't need a car. The shuttle will take you to the "circle" where almost everything is, including the ski resort, restaurants, bars, Adventure Center, etc. If you are looking for an advanced ski mountain, then this isn't for you. The mountain isn't big, and their blacks are more like blue runs out west. However, we still had a great time. A few other things we did were tubing, zip lining, Sky Bridge, and dining in their heated igloos. All great experiences. Would 100% recommend tubing, Sky Bridge, and zip lining. If you already have a lift ticket, then the Sky Bridge is an additional $10 (if you go on the same day as your lift ticket). Otherwise, it is $25. When we went, the pool wasn't open, but supposedly, the hot tub was (which we didn't go to or even see). You could buy a $15 day pass to go to the Boyne Mountain Resort, but we didn't do that... even though their main resort pool area did look nice. The resort is only ~1 hour from Traverse City airport.”

“This is the quintessential dinner. Take in the moment. Buggers are perfect, even the buns are grilled and have a crunch to the grilled crust. Most enjoy this place for what it us. Great.”

“Food here is amazing. Everything is homemade from scratch. I had the ribs and they were delicious, meat falling off the bone with amazing homemade sauce on the side. Went back the next day to have tacos and even the tortillas and chips were homemade. I had the taco trio and each taco was better than the last.”

“Stopped in on a Saturday for dinner, they were offering stir fry buffet along with their regular menu. I opted in for the stir fry and it was really good. The price is higher than average restaurant, however price is normal for the convenience on a resort.”

“I love this place! Very welcoming laid back atmosphere. Great beer selection. The staff was the best, very friendly & genuine. Large portions of food, more than I could eat in one sitting for sure. I would go back again for a meal or just a drink. I really can’t say enough about the bartenders.”

“I cannot complain, but there's nothing especially great about it. They have pretty much everything you could expect to find when it comes to winter sports, but you'll be paying a premium for the convenience of being right on the mountain. If you're fine with dropping a little extra cash, go right ahead and walk on in.”

“Clearly a place worth visiting for pizza and craft beer lovers. Situated in the Clock Tower at the Mountain Grand Resort in Boyne, this place has a rustic charm to it. The place has a lot of photographs of the ski season it is famous for. Much of it with the founder of Boyne Mountain resort (Everett Kircher) Our server was very friendly with a great service attitude. The beer was good and the selection of pizzas excellent. foe a pizza lover, it is the real deal. Definitely worth visiting when you are in and around this area.”

“Great location and view; the snack bar is pretty lacking, though. This place could definitely use a good coffee shop.”

“All 6 of our party of 7 had the perch sandwich and loved it. The bun was fresh and perch was cooked to perfection. We would recommend. We ate outside on a warm afternoon and waiter kept our water glasses filled.”
