“Chef aka Terry is awesome and makes the best food. Never had a bad meal. We both ordered the whitefish and chips and I do not normally eat whitefish being its usually too dry but I got it because I know of Terry's culinary skills. It was very moist and topped with great tarter sauce and lemon. The French fries are top do for as they are very awesome as well. Highly recommend this restaurant if you have not been your missing out on a hidden gem. Sat outside overlooking the golf course was an amazing view on an amazingly nice day. Very refreshing cannot wait to get back their again for the fish and chips!!!”

“Beautiful atmosphere, great service. Only wish they would have had clearance from the city to actually smoke the cigars inside the lounge. It was too cold and windy to enjoy a cigar outside. Also was hoping for a better bourbon selection. Nothing better than a good bourbon and a cigar. We will be back though. Definitely worth stopping in and enjoying a cocktail. The espresso martini was delicious.”

“Very local, most of the staff was very nice. Most of the patrons knew one another. Our food was good, with an average price of $10 per person. Three of us had breakfast and one had lunch. We have no complaints about the quality, price, or service. We had a nice young lady as our sever. Our food was quick, good temperature, and it tasted good too.”

“Looking for a place to eat while traveling on US 75 south when we saw Bass Rail Bar and grill had 4+ stars so we exited and our GPS took us to the door. Nothing fancy on the outside. But we trusted the reviews so we went in. Once inside we were greeted by friendly people. It was early in the day for a bar so as expected it wasn't too busy (yet). There are pool tables (etc) and pull tabs (etc). We sat at the bar. I don't eat meat but my husband does. After using the "facilities" we sat at the actual bar. Ordered a drink and wasn't sure if there was anything on the menu that I could eat. Asking the sweet and adorable bartender (I feel her name is Sammy?) about the menu, my husband asked if I could get the nachos without meat. She said yes and asked if I would like refried beans on it as well? The interesting part is that we didn't see retired bean on the menu. (maybe they were, but we didn't see them). She went the extra step and we appreciated that. The other people at the bar had heard us asking about the menu and they all offered they two cents. Which was so fun. They debated which was better the wings or the burgers. My husband ordered the wings and he ate every one. Said they were delicious. I wasn't able to eat all the nachos but they were so good. Fresh and crisp. Cheesy and the salsa was scrumptious. Great food and friendly locals. We totally recommend this little 'ole bar and grill. Nothing fancy, but a great place to hang out and enjoy a cold beer and meal or snack. We will definitely be back our next time we pass through town.”

Steak perfectly prepared with bacon, crab, and blue cheese crust; my whitefish tender and great tasting. Bourbon ice cream better than here in Kentucky.”
