The best part about this place is the Salsa & Condiment bar so you can dress them to your exact desires. Cilantro & White Onion is all I need along few a few salsas to try. The red tomatillo and guac ones were on point. Definitely worth the stop if you're passing through!”

“We live right down the road from here and we have tried to eat here many times, both in restaurant and take away. We have learned our lesson that the only thing worthwhile there is their soups which are always delicious! We've tried the burgers which are bland and nothing to write home about, same with their wings, we've never had a full pizza but the kids pizza is always bad... Etc etc. We continue to try them because of the convenience of their location and as mentioned before... We love their soups!! But tonight was the final straw for us. We ordered take out, two soups, a chicken Caesar, and a kids pizza (this one was admittedly my mistake as I should have known better). My son refused to eat the pizza, we tried it and couldn't blame him for not wanting to eat it, it was bad, tasted sour like something was off. Pictured is the Caesar salad I got... Brown, soggy and rotting lettuce, not enough dressing to dress half the salad let alone the whole salad. Clam chowder and chicken chili were good. Anyways I was very annoyed that we spent gas money to drive there to pick up food, to return home and find inedible and rotten food. I sent pictures of the salad to their Facebook page, and the response I got was "we'll let our chef know". No apology, no offer to refund us or provide credit for future visit... Nothing! I purposely choose to always message or call the restaurant to give them a chance to make it right before I'd ever leave a review but this was just bad service, bad food, and we've had pretty consistently bad food from there. I won't waste my money here any more. Only giving 3 stars because the front of house staff here is lovely and I know none of this is their fault! They are really great at their jobs and I'm sorry for them that I have to leave this review.”

“The Eagles Nest in the Chateau at Black Mountain is a charming log cabin nestled in the woods with floor to ceiling windows and gorgeous vista views. The soups were great, we had chili and mushroom. The main special was a Parmesan crusted whitefish. Very up north”, and very excellently prepared with crispy crust and flaky interior. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend… they also have live music on some weekends.”

“Live music, great drink variety, wine selections, charcuterie boards, and food; so many options to choose from! There is something for everyone here. Even if you don't drink alcohol, they have coffee, tea, and AMAZING mocktails!! I always have a great experience when I frequent their tavern! Highly reccommend you try it out at least once. The atmosphere is fun, but relaxing. It feels very high-end, and luxurious! Would rate it 100 stars if I could! Also, weird note, but I love their bathrooms lol. They are so pretty and always smell nice. It makes me feel like a rich person when I jave to stop by the restroom haha.”

“Chef aka Terry is awesome and makes the best food. Never had a bad meal. We both ordered the whitefish and chips and I do not normally eat whitefish being its usually too dry but I got it because I know of Terry's culinary skills. It was very moist and topped with great tarter sauce and lemon. The French fries are top do for as they are very awesome as well. Highly recommend this restaurant if you have not been your missing out on a hidden gem. Sat outside overlooking the golf course was an amazing view on an amazingly nice day. Very refreshing cannot wait to get back their again for the fish and chips!!!”

“Beautiful atmosphere, great service. Only wish they would have had clearance from the city to actually smoke the cigars inside the lounge. It was too cold and windy to enjoy a cigar outside. Also was hoping for a better bourbon selection. Nothing better than a good bourbon and a cigar. We will be back though. Definitely worth stopping in and enjoying a cocktail. “I've had Jamaican and Caribbean food before, this was some of the best. The goat curry was amazing! The jerk chicken lunch portion was very reasonably priced and had a great amount of food. Ox tail was delicious also, a little more stew-like than I'd had before at other places (mixed really well with the beams and rice!) Service was quick, they accommodated our party well. “Picked up a pizza earlier this week and was greeted by a wonderful cashier. She was super sweet and helped me figure out the credit card machine (i’m so bad at using those sometimes). She had dark black long hair and I believe she had the back shaved, didn’t catch her name unfortunately. That girl definitely deserves a raise! The man on the phone wasn’t the kindest, but my review changed because of how nice the lady was at the front. Food was good as well.”
