All I gotta say, is that if you do the right Charter, with the right Captain at the helm (I don’t have permission to name him, so
I will keep this amazing Easter egg/treasure hunt to myself, otherwise anyone who catches fish off their dock, and just drag it up to the bar, and claim the “special,” they’ll allow you to bring some of your catch, and they will cook it to absolute perfection, and only require you to purchase a few perfectly mated side items, per person at the table. It’s an amazing deal. The staff is impeccable, friendly, and boldly live up to Drummond’s reputation of being very welcoming to those of us who live in the Lower 48. I’ve never gotten a bad vibe as a “tourist,” even thou my family has a home on the island.

I’ll button this up with, we’ve been frequenting this establishment for nearly 3 decades, even long before their massive remodel. They have maintained that rustic, hardy character that we all want to absorb when we escape to the low blood pressure zone. 😂. Nothing but love for the Northwood. The island wouldn’t be the same without them. ❤️

The fish selections were great as well as the drinks. Great local brews and bloody marys.

So good! I ordered the Mega Pastie and it was excellent. We also had the cheese curds which were yummy. Great place for a nice meal on Drummond Island.

Great menu and selection of beers on tap, friendly people, we love stopping in here for a trails end ales after a day out at Marblehead.

One of the best restaurant in Drummond Island . The ambiance was warm and welcoming. The food was exceptional and they also had an excellent selection of craft beers and cocktails, and the prices were reasonable, considering the high-quality service and food.
