Very light and airy inside with great views of the water. The sandwich I ordered for lunch was very good. There are nautical items up along the ceiling, quite tastefully art directed. It was, all in all, a very pleasant experience.

Beautiful and large restaurant with the bar room to the right and the dining room to the left. At the bar room you can seat at the bar or at the tables. You can get food at the bar. The dining room has several seating sections, all very cool and different. Our server was attentive and friendly. Nice wine and beer menu. The menu has lots of good selections and everything we ate was delicious. The have a nice selection of fresh oysters and they serve them the right way: very chilled, on ice, with mignonette and other accompaniments. The morel mushroom soup is outstanding. The seared scallops were superb: juicy and flavorful. The Manhattan filet and garlic shrimp was a great dish: both meats were tasty and juicy. The pretzel brownie sundae was different and delicious. The creme brûlée was made well. A restaurant we will definitely come back!

Various veggie ????, fish/seafood and meat options served here, with portions from small to large and easy to share if you feels like it. The cuisine could be described as typically Michigan style, without anything too exotic or fancy, which makes this place so authentic! They also have a large range of drafts/beers ???? (incl. local ones) and wines ????for a perfect food pairing ????????

Remodeled restaurant. Very nice. Best lobster roll! Huge pieces of meat - not all filler. It would be nice if they offered local wines and beers. (Short wait for a table but you can get food orders in the bar area.)

Very nice place with great views, lots of room. We had an 8 pm reservation but had traveled all day and were tired so we went a bit earlier... 7:30. We explained our situation and they immediately seated us, served us promptly, and quickly presented the check when we asked for it as we were finishing our meals. We just wanted to get back to our hotel and relax and we very much appreciated Stafford's cooperation.
My walleye was delicious. The whitefish/perch combo was so-so. Beer and iced tea we're very good. Dinner rolls also very good. Waitress was excellent.
If we get back up here, we'd definitely eat here again.
