“Out of town for a bachelorette party. We wanted pizza and this was the only place open to order for 7 drunk women. Pizza were amazing. Pepperoni was fresh and not extra oily making the pizza enjoyable and the cheese pizza had plenty of cheese making it super filling. Definitely will come again if ever in the area”

“This place hands down has the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Not only is the atmosphere cozy and full of character, every bite of the food and sip of coffee were perfect and "just right." Every detail down to the music in the bathroom to the pretty sink was well-thought-out and exuding passion. I will always come back to Villa for special occasions. I have never left a restaurant so fulfilled. I was upset we didn't get some to go!”

“While incredibly busy for the lunch hour on a Saturday, the staff and service were very pleasant and quick. The Avocado BLT was incredibly tasty. The rye bread was thick and flavorful. The India drip coffee was very good, and the Construction Zone drink was surprisingly scrumptious (who knew peanut butter and coffee would go well together). We bought a 1/2 pound of the Burundi beans for home. Next time we are up this way, we will definitely stop back in!”

“Great food..great service... Great experience. There is a very small bar with 5-10 stools which made for a relaxing and friendly environment. There is also a back area for dining and an upstairs area as well. There is an elevator, which as a person with physical limitations, was very much appreciated. They made an artisan pizza exactly as I special ordered it without making me feel like I was being a pain (even though I was). It was delicious. Every meal I saw served looked as delicious as the one before. The atmosphere is unique and interesting. Great place for locals and vacationers alike.”

They were getting ready to close when we picked up our pizza, we were super hungry and decided to eat at their dining tables outside and they offered us lighting and check before they left to make sure there wasn't anything else we needed.. we had great conversation and even better food! “Chandler's Restaurant is a little hidden gem in downtown Petoskey. The food is upscale and delicious nicely prepared. The restaurant is small, not many tables, it does have a full service bar, and some outside seating. Get there early for dinner or make a reservation, highly recommended. Nice wine list.”

It is a carry out or delivery joint but there is a park right down the street that was perfect spot for my family of 4. So glad we tried it, this pizza did not disappoint. The only bad thing is we don't live near by to try more of their specialty pizzas.”

“City Park Grill was a great find in Petoskey. I got the Reuben. Yum!! It was perfectly cooked and had a rich but herb-y fresh taste. The housemate BBQ chips are crispy and delicious. “It's a must to stop in here while in the area. It is always busy! They have it down to a science... and a lot of people grab it to go. There are plenty of picnic areas all around town and around the corner. They are open for breakfast and lunch. Fresh ingredients and an interesting variety of sandwiches and breads and toppings. A lot of local featured items. I had a chicken salad on Traverse City cherry bread. It was a great combo. The soups are fantastic. We had the Tomato Gorgonzola and it was tasty and little cheesy. I was pleasantly surprised. I have not tried the breakfast items yet, but one day.... I will be back again..”
