We got to experience the amazing-ness that is Slabtown Burgers on our last visit to the Traverse City area. They were pretty busy when we went, but it was to be expected on a Saturday night in the summer. Despite the crowd we were still able to find a spot to eat with no problem and our food was ready quickly. All of us were impressed by how delicious the burgers were and I’m a fan of any place that offers tater tots. We will definitely be going again the next time we are up north.
Very cute place, visited with a few friends and definitely going back whenever I visit.
The prices were perfect if you're looking for a good quality burger without the hustle and bustle of dealing with downtown.
Fries were great too and they had local draft root beer which was heavenly! Only way it could have been better is if they had some ice cream to add to the root beer for a quick summertime float!
Place is always busy and with good reason. They have the best fast food style hamburger around. The only problems are a bit of an awkward setup entering the building and a little lack of room. It's hard to find a table if you want to eat in during the summer. The food is great and a pretty decent value. Call ahead in the summer because the line will go out the door.
Great place for a quick tasty bite in Traverse City. They have really good options including salads and chicken tenders for those that are health conscious or have picky kids! The soda fountain is natural sodas, so understand you aren't having a coke with your meal. Friendly staff and quick table delivery!
A great slice of Americana. The experience is as much as fun as the food is good. Way off the beaten path (which means you might just find parking), it's in a beautiful old house, restored to perfection, with lots of outdoor seating. Get the Slabtown Special or the Big Blue Burger. Add a malted chocolate milk shake. Settle into a blissful food coma and enjoy the quieter side of TC.
