Wow! Best wings I've ever had. This place is very welcoming and upbeat. The wings were amazing.
The pho was soul-warming, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the bubble tea was surprisingly amazing. Seriously - the bubble tea really stood out for some reason. I also really like that a dollar of your bowl gets donated to a charity of your choice! Really enjoyed eating here!
I have nothing but great things to say about The Good Bowl. For starters, I think it’s a genius idea to donate $1 for every entree ordered to a charity (you get to choose 1 of 3 charities you want that dollar to go to: either local, national, or global). They have been open for just over a year and have donated over $35,000!!
The staff was extremely friendly & accommodating to our 20-month old and our stroller (adjusted the tables to allow our sleepy baby to fall asleep in the stroller while we enjoyed our dinner).
The food was full of flavor, delicious, and filling.
Lastly, I liked that the owner walked around to make sure customers had everything they needed and thanked people for stopping in.
We loved it! And look forward to going back! ????
Pros: Nice atmosphere, wait staff are very polite, helpful and allergen aware. I really like the concept of 1$ from the meal goes to a charity.
Cons: Maybe we just came at a weird time but our soup was just mildly warm, the noodles were undercooked, yet the beef was over cooked. The tofu spring rolls were good but the peanut sauce was a little lacking in flavor. Thought it was a little expensive for the quality of food received.
Not likely to revisit based off of first impression.
2019-08-13 1240EST Walk up ordering is a little awkward when busy. Food is exactly what I expected from an authentic Vietnamese spot. Today we tried the dumplings. Chili oil was perfectly spiced and seasoned. The steam was exactly where it should be. The Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai iced tea were flavorful and chilled. I was not a fan of the Coconut in the creme brulee. Definitely recommend this place.
