The Towne Plaza

An amazing outdoor seating area . My friends and I ordered across a spectrum of their menu from French fries to halibut. All dishes were superb. Highly recommend.

Very,very long wait... food was good, but for the price...expected better service. After almost an hour after being seated,and only had our beverages. We asked our server if there was a problem..meal came out about 20 minutes later. (4 in our party visited on a weeknight... disappointing was an understatement)

Extraordinary creations, most enticingly prepared. Although I'm not a meat-eater, this menu was a refreshing surprise with a number of tempting options for a vegetarian/vegan. All 4 entrées at our table were delicious, and beautifully presented. Prices were reasonable.

We went here with friends and all of us but one had a great meal. I had the scallops. My friend had the halibut and our husbands had the $38. Rib eye special. One of the steaks was fine. Tender & juicy, the other was tough & chewy. I swore it was a select grade New York & not a ribeye. Not sure I would even feed it to my dog. I complained later to waitress and she seemed to cop an attitude. Not good customer service. For $38. I expect a melt in your mouth steak. I didn't really expect anything but a genuine apology would have been nice and not a "you get what you get attitude"!

Towne Plaza is one of my favorite restaurants in Traverse City. It's big and they have a nice patio that is dog-friendly. Their food has always been excellent and they have decent prices for good portion sizes and high-quality food. Plus great drinks and good service. I came for my birthday and had a great time!
