“So we thought this was just a pastry/bakery but it turned out to be a full sit-down restaurant. We had an excellent breakfast here with great coffee choices too! FYI if you're feeling adventurous you can get a snail omelette ???? Pastries were beautiful and traditional french styles.”

“I read another review on here that mentioned they would order the chicken and waffle sandwich if they were on death row. I ordered it, and I'm here to tell you that was no exaggeration. Order it with white cheddar and thank me later. The sandwich, coupled with the extremely friendly staff and delicious coffee earns an enthusiastic 5 stars.”

“Food was pretty good! My boyfriend ordered a 10 piece shrimp and said it was great. If you're looking for fish and shrimp it's a great place to come! My only recommendations are that they have some sort of sign about the seating! It's a tad confusing at first. What you do is go up to the counter, order your food and pay for it, and then grab a seat and they bring it out to you. Walking in the side entrance we couldn't see the "order here" sign and stood there figuring out if it was a restaurant style method of eating or not! Also, it took quite a long time before the shrimp came out, I think I got through an episode of whatever was on the TV before it arrived. It seemed longer than most restaurants and the customer level seemed average but not super busy at the time. Decor is sea themed and even has cool old-school boat motors around!”

“Pros: Nice atmosphere, wait staff are very polite, helpful and allergen aware. I really like the concept of 1$ from the meal goes to a charity. Cons: Maybe we just came at a weird time but our soup was just mildly warm, the noodles were undercooked, yet the beef was over cooked. The tofu spring rolls were good but the peanut sauce was a little lacking in flavor. Thought it was a little expensive for the quality of food received. Not likely to revisit based off of first impression.”

“Great place to grab a beer and a bite to eat while in the downtown area. Food vendors, brewery and a few other unique shops all under one roof (bonus!). Food vendors are very meat-focused (not a bonus), so vegetarians and conscious eaters be warned. No coffee available, nor wine or hard cider that I saw. So, currently it's best for those looking for a craft beer and smoked brisket to wash it down. Outdoor seating is a plus.”

“I've been twice and made a point to come back with friends, we came on Sunday morning which is understandably a very busy time. I knew from the first visit that this was truly homemade food that takes time. This last visit took a bit longer than we were expecting. We had 4 plates and three of us got food before the other friend and it took a while. The food was absolutely delicious and worth the wait I just wish there had been more efficiency in the kitchen. It looked like they were down a person so I totally get it. Just be prepared for a potential wait but it'll be totally worth it! We hope that when we come back the staff is a bit more trained :)”

“I've been shopping at Oryana since the 1980s on Randolph Street. Oryana is more than a store, it's a community. It's place of fresh local produce, healthy food, amazing soups and a gathering place for like-minded people. It's a gathering place of information whether it's the bulletin boards in the front, the gallery of local farmers in the entryways, the staff knowledge of healthy foods and products, to the classes taught in the cafe in the back - Oryana is a great place to come to learn more. The atmosphere is fun and enjoyable. People are friendly, produce is colorful, it smells great and there's often music playing in the cafe. Come and enjoy!”

“Cool food truck with an extensive menu. We had the Freebird Sandwich which was absolutely delicious! So fresh. The brass monkey smoothie was out of this world. Peanut butter with chocolate almond milk Gluten free and Vegan menu. Prices are good for the quality of the food.”

“This is one of the easiest five stars for me. Service, food, and atmosphere are impeccable. It’s so kid friendly for our kids it’s unbelievable. If you’re a young dad and want a good beer, but also want a good place for your kids, THIS IS THE PLACE. Our server went above and beyond. An employee who wasn’t even taking care of us quickly came to our rescue when our kids had a spill. She mentioned that she understood because she had three kids herself. Everything was simply top notch. TC was crawling today and yet we had NO WAIT at 6:30 p.m. on a Friday night. We hit the jackpot apparently. Easy FIVE STARS.”

“I come from Chicago so I have different expectations. Is this the best pizza I've ever had, no. If i wanted my favorite pizza I would be spending $40 instead of $25. The crust is hand tossed so it's softer and thicker than your standard thin crust pizza but tastes good. The sauce smells excellent but is kinda standard pizza sauce nothing special. The sausage and bacon on our pizza was delicious! One of us actually saw a young lady cooking the bacon to put it on the pizza, never seen that thumbs up! The decor was your standard pizza place with a little flair, but it was a little too warm for us so we took ours home. Pizza was finished in about 15 minutes, that's super fast in my book. If i come down with a craving for pizza i know where to go for a quick bite.”

“All I can say is this: plan on getting a solid food coma, because the food trucks are some of the best from around the US! Each year they've got a new lineup and I've never been disappointed. The libations flow and are priced Right, to make sure they KEEP flowing. Stop here, and part with your hard earned cash, because they know you've earned some R&R!!!!”

“Locally sourced fresh food made into delectable dishes sure to amaze your pallet! Very small seating area and reservations are strongly recommended. If you don't care for outside the box and high end food, this isn't the place for you. The chef has great taste and they have lots of events. I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“Good pizza and cinnamon sticks at a fair price. Delivery was a little later than they stated but I rarely knock a star off if the food was good. Probably one of the best pizza spots in the area.”

“My pizza was amazing. I made my own. It’s similar to other brick oven places where it’s thin crust with a few specialties and a build your own option but this one is more intimate in that they bring you your pizza and provide actual plates and silverware. The atmosphere, interior decor, and outdoor seating are cool. Good size space. I went on a Monday around 5:30 and it wasn’t busy. Staff is friendly. Would go back again.”

“Just like other McDonald's in Traverse City-- messed up orders and rude managers who couldn't run a lemonade stand. Food is good though. 7/14/2019 UPDATED REVIEW Went again today, used the drive-thru only. Cute McDonald's right across from the bay. Gentleman who took our order repeated it to us twice (correctly) and we got our food quickly. It was tasty and hot. Changed my 3 star review to 5 stars. Will be back again!”

“I had both breakfast and lunch here, and both were excellent. The servers were small-town friendly and conscientious. The location is also excellent with a view of the West Bay, albeit a little obscured. It was recommended by a friend, and I pass on that recommendation.”

“The restaurant is decorated beautifully. The setting is great for a romantic dinner date. The staff is incredibly friendly and very welcoming, they add to the experience so much. The food tastes great, it is well done and presented well on the plate. Only criticism is their prices are higher than most Mexican restaurants; however the atmosphere and staff really make up for that price difference.”

“Nice spot to stop for breakfast, pretty normal diner menu. Service was pretty good, food was tasty. I had the pineapple upside down pancakes and my husband had the Denver omelette. The first cup of coffee was delicious but the refill had a weird metallic taste to it, not sure what that was about ????♀️”

“Traffic getting into place was challenging. Once there I ordered the Big Italian on 8" french bread. Very good????. Also my other ordered #9 and used the lettuce wraps option, also very good. The order taker was nice and help us to locating the napkins. Napkins are out of site at the pick up section. I can understand to have a watchful eye on them so they don't get abused by jerk customers. Very good lunch!”
