“My Girlfriend took me here on my birthday to my request, the service was great, along with my classic pan pepperoni and sausage pizza. Definitely a unique flavor of pizza that I have always loved. It's a good restaurant right in between fancy and fast food. The one thing I didn't really like was how wide the table was. If you're on a date and plan on sitting across from eachother and would want to be able to hold hands over the table or anything as long as you have 4 foot long arms you should be good. This isn't really that big of a problem but figured I would mention it.”

Their location is in a mini mall area that is no longer in its prime however, this shouldn't stop you from making the effort to eat here. The proprietors are very friendly and inviting. We truly enjoyed our dining experience here. It is true that some of the best eateries are in out-of-the-way or "hole in the wall" places. Panda North qualifies as a diamond in the rough Chinese restaurant. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!”

Sandwiches, not so good (reason for the 3 star rating) Seems they put a ton of pesto on everything. And, the sandwiches are very over priced for being mostly pre cooked chicken breast strips. Seems like they chinch out on toppings for the sandwiches. When you order a smoothie they come in one huge size! So you can’t get a small.”

“First time in and came for soup. I was told it's a rotating menu. None of the current soups offered looked especially good to me so I decided to order their "special" sandwich instead, a grilled cheese with Mac n Cheese and bacon. It was $8 so I was expecting a decent size elevated grilled cheese sandwich that would wow me with some great flavor. Nope.... Just your average white bread sandwich grilled with American cheese, literally.... barely any bacon(I would lying if I told you there was more than half a piece of bacon on this thing) , and some Mac and cheese all together inside. But, but, but... How did it taste? OK, plain and simple, my 5th grader could make this for me in 10 minutes. Certainly nothing special for an $8 grilled cheese... lol. The employee who explained their business model while I was looking at the menu was nice and seemed passionate about their soup. However, one and done here because $8 buys some pretty good sandwiches around town that will fill you up, please your taste buds and make you want to come back. I will pass on trying their soups if this is how they bring it for their "specialty" sandwich.”

Luckily I had rice to go with it, which wasn't bad. I also tried some fried rice, which was ok. The sweet donuts were awesome. You might wonder why I'm rating the restaurant a 4, since I didn't like my food. The reason is that I realize my experience is due to my own tastes, and not any shortcoming of the restaurant itself. My girl friend loved her food, and I suspect I would have as well if I had tried something to my tastes.”

“Okay I'll be honest. I used to love this place. Then I tried other Chinese restaurants outside of Michigan. I order of the menu versus the buffet now. I have had the buffet when they open at 5 pm and it's very good. I've also had it at 8 pm when they close and it is not good at all. Sauces tend to be sweet and sticky with little balance. It's basically Chinese - American for Michiganders. Again it's not bad food on the contrary it's pretty good for what it is. The California rolls are fresh, the low mein in pretty good. My personal favorite is the Thai Rice Bowl. Egg Rolls are mostly Bean filler with no flavor. The Dumplings were solid and the fried Rice was okay for just soy, chicken and no vegetables. It will get your Chinese fix if you need it and don't want to spend a ton of money.”
