Copper Range Depot Family Restaurant

This place was nice! Great food and great service. We had a hard time choosing our breakfast and finally decided on the Finnish pancake and Oscar Benedict. Very filling, but we ate every bite.

Very close to the best food I've ever had! I had the smothered chicken which was amazing! The potatoes and vegetables were oh so good. My dad had the red pepper bisque soup which he loved. He also had the salmon which he said was fantastic.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! Great service, outstanding food, wonderful atmosphere, reasonable prices.

This restaurant, formerly old railroad depot, is located just off the river in downtown Houghton Michigan. We sat outside on the now porch where people use to board the train. We watched the boats and the large lift bridge opening for a large river cruise boat. My wife loved her salad. I had a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The sandwich was good but I would suggest naming it something different because it wasn't made at all like a true Nashville hot. I highly recommend the onion rings. They are thicker but very crispy. Good food and great atmosphere, I'll give it a thumbs up.

Had lunch at the Copper Range Depot and ordered the C&H Panini sans tomatoes. Sandwich and fries were good. The restaurant was quiet with only a few other customers as it was about two in the afternoon. Cute gifts in the gift shop. The only thing that could have been better would have been for the server to ask if I would have like a refill on my water or a box to take home the leftovers.
