Meat BBQ

Fantastic food. Had the ribs, nachos, and chicken wings. Everything was perfect including the service. Jessie was our server and went out of her way to take care of us. She made us feel welcomed and was a pure joy. Never disappointed at Meat.

I had the 1/2 rack ribs with mac and cheese/ creamy corn. The ribs were meaty and tender. The rub is very unique and peppery. Different hotter taste than I've ever had and I've had BBQ in every region of the country. The two sides were also a bit spicier than I'm used to. But I'm giving this place 4 stars becau6of the great friendly staff and the quirky interior of the restaurant.

Absolutely melt-in-your mouth food with superior service and a fantastic atmosphere. I liked it, if you couldn't tell. I'm currently planning when I can go back next.

My only complaint would be knowing where to park. There is a public lot within walking distance but we didn't see it until we were walking there from parking around the block.

I haven't had anything this good in a very long time. The brisket nachos were incredible. The full order was all I could handle and I'm a pretty good size boy. For most people, I would say get the half order. I will be coming back next time I'm in town. ????

This restaurant in Old Town is a great addition to the city! The BBQ is wonderful and the sides are good too. It strives to be a Texas style BBQ place and is close to it sans the visible smokers and Texas country music. The brisket sandwich is done well, but the sandwich bread is a little too buttery. The blue cheese and bacon potato salad is also very good and different. I didn't try the mac and cheese main dish, but it looked phenomenal. The only thing I can say negative are that there aren't really any healthy choices on the menu. A BBQ stuffed baked potato would start to fit that bill, but the closest thing were french fries. Maybe some stewed green beans as a side... but if you aren't concerned by that, then go and enjoy this place. It is very tasty!
