I enjoy Marty's. If you are looking for a great deal on an ok cut of meat that tastes great for under 10 bucks, then Marty's is calling your name.

Sometimes it's a great place, strong drinks, not expensive, best french fries ever... Last time we were there though the staff was busy partying themselves, slow, absent minded service, got our bill wrong, made being there very uncomfortable so we just paid it anyway and left.

Marty's is a local institution and it is for a reason. It's a solid bar with a good atmosphere very friendly to townies and non college kids too. The location is about as good as you can hope for too. The real perk though is the food it's all more than solid and you can't find better prices anywhere in town. The steak special is well known which is understandable with the quality and price but the rest of the food is all as good and cheap. Get a lunch there and you will be very pleasantly surprised if you didn't think of it as an eatery
