I love this place! I’ve been going there since they first opened and the food is amazing. I’ve told all my friends about it and they love the place too! The staff are so friendly and they make you feel welcomed, even when the place is so busy. My only problem is that the food takes a long time to get to us, but it’s worth the wait.
Great food, lots of options for gluten/dairy free! Great service! Went out of their way for a party of 12 on a Saturday night. Will eat great again next time I'm in town.
We had such a good time! Great food and drinks! Super friendly staff. Update*** I was asked what could have been done to make this a five star review so here it is...we had my granddaughter with us and were sitting at the tall table due to the size of our party. The highchair was not tall enough and you had no booster seat. We ended up belting her on to the chair. We made it work.
Definitely a place to bring the family! Uniquely different pizzas that are delicious. Excellent service , very detailed oriented, personable staff! Moderately equipped bar with abundant choices for many house crafted recipes. We will be back! Great addtion to Mount Pleasant!
If you're looking for quality pizza, here it is. You won't find typical chain restaurant greasy, bland pizza here. The pizzas we tried were the Pickle, and Big Meat. The Big Meat hit all the right spots: quality, crisp pepperoni, hamburger, bacon and ham and a flavorful red sauce. The unique finale was the Pickle pizza. If you're hesitant with ordering one because you're worried about overpowering vinegar, don't. The pickle compliments the dill and creamy cheese with a smooth texture. Leave any preconceptions at the door. Finally, the seasonal Pumpkin sticks were a perfect finish to an already satisfying meal. They were a pleasing balance of texture, soft, yet chewy with a nice doughy consistency. The pumpkin sauce was easy to dip, not runny but also not so firm that it's challenging to dip. We also tried their peach lemonade, not pictured. It was once again, a great option. They offer other familiar flavors, but the peach combo was a nice change of pace, not overly sweet. Overall, our first experience at Vin Trofeo's was very positive. I highly recommend you make the trip here. We live over in Allendale, but I won't hesitate to drive past Grand Rapids and Lansing to come here again. Well worth giving this establishment a try.
