They had bottles of water that my shell and my town does not have. I bought a few and they're really unique. Thing I liked is on the side by the counter. They had bottles of maple syrup which shepherd Michigan is famous for. I had to buy one. I thought that was really cool. All shells should have local items.”

The food is really fresh. In fact, the arugula in my salad was the freshest and most crisp that I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and efficient. Una, the General Manager, enjoyed telling the story behind the Horse Soldier Premier Bourbon. Be sure to ask about it when you go there.”

“Don't let the bad reviews turn you away. There are some kinks that need to be worked out but, $14.99 a person is not a bad price for a buffet. I don't know what people expect? Free food I guess. It is basically Ponderosa. I got the pasta tonight and it was a large portion. My husband got the tips and it was cooked well. I can see the grill becoming an issue on wait time when it is busy. Buffets are supposed to be "cheap" food as they are to feed large crowds quickly (duh) so if you are expecting a steakhouse quality go to a steakhouse, if you want homemade, higher quality items, you'll pay well more than $14.99 a person. If you are looking for a quick buffet dinner, here you go. We thought everything was good and we tried a little of everything. If you want to spend less than $15 on your dinner...Burger King is up the road, have at it.”

“I ordered the chicken entree and my friend ordered the tofu entree let me just say...the smells that were coming out of this bag...I literally sped home drooling it smelled SO good. my friend is picky about tofu and ask for hers to be extra crispy and they nailed it perfectly! my chicken was SO moist and the sauce was a little spicy but not too much, exactly how it should be and perfect with the rice! I literally ate every last grain of rice!! more than worth the short drive. portions are absolutely worth the price!! support local!”

Used restrooms. Clean. Told manager how much we appreciated their good service, food and clean restrooms. Made a long day/night of travel much better.. Couldn't leave w/o trying the mashed potatoes. “I booked three sauna appointments in three days as part of a detox week I'm putting myself through. The people were nice and informative, easily tackling the questions I had and giving me knowledge I didn't know I'd need! The saunas they have are infrared so its not humid but you will sweat. It was relaxing to sit under the colored lights while breathing in the aromatherapy and think about life. They supply you with damp towels infused with eucalyptus to scrub down with after you get out, which is nice. Staff are attentive and care about your well-being. Starting off, I'd come check out the juice and smoothie bar but stay for their sandwiches and can recommend their grilled PB&J for the amazing smell alone. I'm shipping out soon but will be back to sample more goodies and services.”

“Sumo has amazing miso soup, house green salad with ginger dressing, and sushi rolls. We ordered multiple rolls, including the shrimp tempura, crunchy crab, Philadelphia, Godzilla, American Dream, and Fire Phoenix. Everything was delicious and plated beautifully. The staff were very friendly and prompt. My husband and I highly recommend Sumo!”
