New Hotel Mertens

I chose this venue for my cousin birthday she had given me the pleasure to plan and it was an amazing but expensive experience you have a gratuity for a large party which I didn’t know I called and made reservations for a party of 15 with the option to go up to the rooftop we were told it was another party on rooftop done by 8pm so after the lovely dinner we had we were finished by quarter to 9pm and ready to go up to the the rooftop but not till told that my party could not go up because they could only fit so many mind you I made reservations and management was aware so long story short we concluded women go up first men will come after I’m guessing the small amount a space so it’s first come first serve however I still believe you should be able to reserve space for a time in short

Excellent food, excellent staff. The food was very well prepared and served. Fine wine list, very nice atmosphere. The restaurant is quiet, nice for conversation and peace of mind.

Awesome bread! I forget the bartender's name but he was the best part. He makes drinks super well and has a great sense or humor doing it. Very friendly people. The roof seating has a great view too.

Outstanding, real French fare excellently prepared. The ambiance is great, the decor fun and nicely historic. Our server was exceptionally cheerful and had great recommendations. She didn't seem rushed at all, took time to walk through the menu with us throughout the meal.

Every item at our table came out perfectly, and we had a great experience.
