(June 16, 2019, 9:47 am)The server we had was friendly and got our drinks to us right away, but she forgot a diet Pepsi and got the wrong sandwich for my friend. She was very quick to correct these errors. I got the salad bar. It was well maintained, but rather small. The ladies room needed to be mopped and the paper roll for the dispenser was just left on the counter. So, the food was good, our server was personable, they could be a bit more observant on the cleanliness of their restrooms. I would go there again.

(June 7, 2019, 3:40 am)Had a great dinner at Pearl st. Big Boy in Grand Rapids the waitress Susan went out of her way to make our experience great! No more Big Boys where I live in Monroe Mi! Miss them so much! Worked there for yrs. Love there food! Please consider Canton or Ypsilanti for a Big Boy! Would Love it! Go there a lot! Thank you????????????

(June 5, 2019, 9:57 pm)This Big Boy is a great spot to have a breakfast meeting with good food. The location is great being so close to multiple highways and businesses. I had an omelette, which was tasty and we'll made. This store is obviously a gathering space for many that frequent it daily or often as the staff knew many by name.

(June 2, 2019, 4:50 pm)UPDATE: 6/2/19. We returned at the invitation of the owner. Had a much better experience. Good attentive service. We had the Meatloaf sandwich with onion rings and the breakfast buffet. The food was fresh. The onion rings were a bit chewy. The food took a while to come out. The biscuits on the buffet were hard. Otherwise it was a nice experience. Much improved. Added 2 stars. We will return.
PREVIOUS VISIT: Mediocre food. Good service. Unable to substitute to accomodate diet. Not highly recommended. Will choose elsewhere next time. In the past this was a great place to eat. Since "re-opening," we have visited a couple times. Nothing to write home about. No longer the Michigan all-star it used to be. -

(May 25, 2019, 3:00 am)This is second time in the last couple weeks that we had Lisa for a server. She not only did an excellent job, she has a great personality! Hard worker that goes above and beyond to provide great service.
