“I wanted to give it a 5... The sauce was delicious. Heck the whole pie was delicious with pepperoni and ham. And hot, ouch even driving home, it was too hot to eat at first. The only reason it's not a 5 was the cook had his cell phone to his ear the whole time I was there. Hand on phone (some of the dirtiest items), then making Pies, then back to the phone. No hand washing in between. Come on guys. The only saving grace was the pie was so hot,it killed any germs. :-)”

“You are first welcomed by the warmest staff when walking in this progressive and current restaurant. I love that, I love a staff that smiles and is truly glad that you're there. But we were the lucky ones. Our waitress was so helpful, smiling and truly a delight. But the food. Holy Cow. Everything ordered in our party of 4 was delicious, cooked exactly as ordered with a few surprises along the way, like their beer mayonnaise for the burger and to dip your fries (thick, hand cut). Chicken and waffles stuffed with mac and cheese!!! Gumbo, catfish, even the burger, oh and don't forget the pork shank. The whole experience of this Soul Kitchen was one we want again. “The Winchester is a nice spot over in the East Side of Grand Rapids. Great selection of beers! The beer I got was extremely enjoyable and not too pricey. The Fish & Chips was outstanding. Nice crisp breading along with perfectly cooked fries. Service was excellent and the food came out very quick. One thing I really liked about The Winchester was there was all different types of seating. You could sit at the bar, at a booth, table, or outside. I always love when a place has variety like that. Only complaint would be that the appetizer selection was poor. Will definitely be back for some more Fish & Chips though!”

“Elk is awesome! One of our favorite spots because it is dog friendly outside. It is a beer only place with some very small snacks. They have daily specials that are the best around. 2 dollar beers on Thursdays and Sundays. They have a killer mug club deal as well. They also have movie nights and frequent entertainment!
