F'n K Tacos

I ordered one of each of their tacos. They have a meatless taco, but that's a waste of time and calories. What's a taco without meat?!? I had hot sauce on the side. The steak taco was amazing. The pieces of steak were 'not too big, not too small'. When they're too small they get over cooked. When they're too big they can be tough to chew. Just the right size and great flavor. The chicken was very flavorful. The pork was my favorite. So much flavor in the meat.

The corn tortillas were unlike anything I've ever had at a restaurant. They are made fresh for each order. So good. So soft. So full of flavor.

Presentation was great. Atmosphere was great. Prices are what I'd expect($4-$5/taco).

Tortilla chips(an often overlooked element to the official taco rating system) were awesome. Not so crispy that they damage the roof of my mouth(think cap'n crunch), but firm enough to hold the weight of the salsa. Speaking of the salsa, probably the best 'not made at home' salsa I've ever had. Yes, I'm sure the salsa you make from the ingredients you make in your all natural garden is better, but this salsa is amazing. So much flavor and not too spicy. I actually added my left over hot sauce to the salsa to spice it up a bit.

If you like tacos you need to go here. If you don't like tacos, you should probably go see a doctor, they make medication for that.

Met my friend here today for the first time. I ordered meatless tacos with no cheese. Told the cashier that I was vegan, plus I can't do oil. She told Frank and he came over to the counter to tell me that he was going to clean the grill so I wouldn't get residue from the meat and oil. That is amazing customer service. The tacos were delicious. I ordered 2 but could have eaten 4!

Fantastic! First time visit to F’n K Tacos, but it will definitely not be my last. Quick service and very friendly staff. The food is outstanding and I can’t wait to work my way through the menu. Also very excited to support folks from California’s Central Coast-go Mustangs! You will not be disappointed!

The handmade flour tortillas are worth it alone! Great stop for lunch located right downtown Rockford. Friendly and fast service for tacos made-to-order. Highly recommended!

This place is truly great! the tortillas are so delicious. The wait is a little bit longer, but when you are making something fresh from scratch, that's to be expected. Great work all! We wish you all the success!
