“Best Detroit style pizza in town. The sourdough crust is unbelievable, the sauce is great, the pepperonis were perfectly crisp, good amount of cheese but not too much. The buffalo chicken pizza was awesome too with the blue cheese sauce on top was killer. The ranch with the bread sticks is probably the best ranch I've ever had. Wish they made bigger pizzas because it reheats really well for leftovers too! Can't stop thinking about it and can't wait to go back.”

“Wow! This place is a gem. Great energy smiling staff, smiling customers, and bright and airy interior. We had the best real deal Belgian Waffle I have had in town. Crispy, batter is light but crispy with the surprising sugar pieces in it, just like in Belgium. Service was friendly, although I we did have to wait a bit longer for the food than we would have liked, we did go during their busy time on Sunday for brunch, so they were slammed. That just gave us an excuse to have another cup of coffee. We also had the farm hand omelet and the Crab Breakfast Hash. Both were well balanced and not heavy. The crab breakfast hash/bowl was the star though. It had peppers and onions that were sweet and smokey, along with corn for crunch. Seriously well executed, the flavor was complex... Whoever came up with that dish is a genius, poblano peppers? Who would have thought... Coming back again to this place!”

“We had a delicious dinner at Royals! They were able to accommodate and make adjustments for our bigger party size (8). I ordered a vanilla milk shake which was excellent. We ordered the cheese ball and deviled eggs for an appetizer and they did not disappoint! I ordered the Parm 2 sandwich for an entree. I didn’t expect it to be so big when I got it but it was a perfect amount. We left full and satisfied. Our waiter was excellent as well. Bringing refills at the right time.”

“This little restaurant is inside the La Familia Stop-N-Shop on Grandville Ave. The dining area was closed due to COVID, but takeout was open! It was so good to resume our taco tour after a long hiatus. Eli and I both got the same order; traditional Mexican tacos with corn tortillas, 1 al pastor, 1 lengua, and 1 chorizo. They were fantastic. Eli said that it was the best al pastor he’d had in a long time. It was fantastic. All 3 tacos were amazing, but I agree, the pork was the best. Super flavorful and just enough heat to induce a little sweat. And the hot sauces that came with the tacos were the perfect addition. When we called in our order, I asked the employee what they were known for. She said that everyone loved their tortas, so we ordered a steak torta - oh my goodness, so good. The bread was perfect and had a slight char on the outside so it was soft, but had a bit of a crust. The sandwich was perfect. I should’ve just eaten that, but then it wouldn’t be a proper taco tour stop, right?! Highly recommend el Tigron, so good.”

“Don't be fooled by the small location, but by the big food. Big as in rich, delicious, and authentic Mexican cuisine. Me and my friend ordered two Steak tacos two Al pastor tacos and one shrimp taco. The tortillas held up and the meat was well cooked, tender and flavourful with little grease! The onions and cilantro were fresh and sprinkled on to perfection. Even the complementary salsa and chips were rich in there color and flavour with a hint of spice but not over powering. Their salsa for the tacos could have been thicker but it still added depth and character when drizzled onto the tacos. Overall a five-star experience and I hope to visit this restaurant soon as they are very consistent with their food! (Even the staff were as inviting as the food, their prices and reasonable considering the value proposition!)”

Misha & Lenny, as well as the 2 teenage girls that I've had the pleasure of dealing with have all been amazing & helpful. I've tried a variety of ice cream & Italian ice, even the dole whip...All were fantastic! I've tried the walking taco, but I gotta say the taco dog is my favorite ?
