“We've been in there probably a dozen times. The food usually is hot and good. The service is usually good. As with any restaurant try to come at a non peak time. It can get real crowded (for me it is then less pleasant). (Update 11-16-17) The dining area has been remodeled. It looks sharp. Update: 5-30-19 Recently visited via the drive thru. I specifically requested cole slaw but I did not receive it. Was neither provided napkins nor asked if I wanted butter/honey for biscuits or white or dark meat. Recommend checking your order before leaving the premises and be proactive because apparently they fail to listen or ask proper questions whenever it is busy. Rating downgraded.”

Dining in, the place was spotless and twice we were asked how our food was and offered to take our trays by polite employees. Another employee even held the door. “Food was good, service was very friendly. The portions were a bit weird though. Hubby got a standard 2eggs, bacon, hash browns and a pancake in place of toast. There was a small upcharge for the pancake which was fine but the rest of the portion size was kind of small for the price. I got a western style omelette that was good but was maybe 1 egg and about 2 pounds of filling, I would rather have more egg and half the filling. Chef did bring out a fun pancake for our two kids that he made a face on with fruit and whipped cream, they enjoyed that. Overall, we would go back for sure because the food and atmosphere was good. Oh, the pancakes are really good! They have a very nice vanilla flavor.”

“I decided to order online because I had, what I believed to be, a large order (5 subs plus a pizza) my first time ordering online and I didnt want to hold the line up in the store. My order was supposed to be ready at 6:40. I'm currently sitting in the store still waiting for my order. At the moment its 6:55. They said they couldnt get to my order because they're busy. Dont get me wrong, they are.. there have been 8 customers that have entered after me and are being served before my order is even started. OP theres customers 9 and 10. I guess the moral of the story is I should just have stood in line and placed my order and made all of these folks wait. They have not acknowledged me or even acted like they had any interest in starting my $40 order. Cool. PSA, I already prepaid for my order online. Update: it's now 7:05. I'm still waiting but I can see they've finally started the order while customers are waiting and now here I sit, feeling guilty like I did something wrong. Maybe this location just needs more employees?”

“Just got married there last night! The venue was beautiful, although they may have been short staffed it wasn’t easily noticed. All staff were so friendly and accommodating the food was amazing! We worked with Stacie and she did everything she had promised. Everything worked out. Thank you for making this such a special day for me and my husband! The groom and groomsmen went golfing in the morning and the staff was amazing they had so much fun! The bridal suite was perfect and anything we asked for or needed was done. We did decide last minute to hire a coordinator with the help of her (Kate at Valley and Oak Events) and Stacie our day was perfect! I would recommend this venue to any brides looking for a venue! We got married in the tent and is was so beautiful. One of our kegs ran out and the staff quickly switched to cans of the same beer no one noticed. Everything was seamless. Everything that need to be changed or done got done! Thanks again Stacie and staff!”

Also, take advantage of the slight upcharge to substitute pancake for toast. I asked for a blueberry pancake. Delicious, fresh blueberries! Yum! This is how a blueberry pancake in MI should taste! “The beer here is decent - it was definitely hit or miss. A few beers we really didn't care for - just plain no flavor. But there were a few that we thought were pretty good. We ordered 2 flights in order to try multiple beers which is what we like to do. The service was good - the bartender for the night was the GM, so you know he's going to provide good service. It was pretty darn dead in there. They have a huge space, and not a lot going on, especially for a Saturday night. Cool view - they have beer vats right in the middle of the restaurant, and the bar is set up pretty cool. Very large bar. There were TV's above the bar, but they weren't on. The food menu looked okay, and the food that we saw come out, looked decent as well, but we did not eat there. Nice to check the place out, though.”
