Fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Step out your door right onto the beach with firepit and paddle boards and kayaks for hire. Enjoy breakfast, coffee, and local small town chit chat in the cafe on site. Dinner nearby at Eagle Harbor Inn. Simple rooms with hot shower with good water pressure. I was able to cast my phone to the TV to watch YouTube and football streams. Why haven't you booked yet? 🍻
Stopped in for breakfast yesterday and was completely starstruck by Eddie and Pam. I ordered an americano with their big belly eggs Benedict and my wife had a pumpkin spice latte and meat breakfast skillet. We picked up some cool swag from their store as well! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was probably the best thing in a 100 mile radius. I unfortunately was too mesmerized by the experience to take any photos and videos but we absolutely will be returning.
Super friendly owner! My sister's and I stopped for breakfast on the way to Copper Harbor and were so glad we did! The food was amazing! They happily accommodated special requests and did so with a smile on their face. The owners love of what he does shows.
I'm a local and I stop in once or twice a week for breakfast, that should say something! All the food is excellent! It is great to see what Eddie is doing with the place as the previous owners had really let the place go downhill! Although I don't stay there, I can vouch for the rooms being great! The rooms are very nice. Clean, quiet and close to the beach. This is an easy 5 star review. I can;t say enough about what a turnaround Eddie has done with the place! I'll be back again and again!
Summary: We did a Saturday-Saturday couples retreat in the Keweenaw using the cabin rental at Fletchy’s as home base. It was an incredible trip!
We were lucky to spend some time with the owners while they were here, and they’re some of the friendliest people. It certainly trickles down to Eddie and the rest of the staff. By the sounds of it from others they’ve really turned the place around.
Beach/ views: The beach is all sand, unlike many of the other public beaches nearby that are all rocks (we love both). Our cabin had a beach front view and adjacent to the road, with minimal traffic and always quite quiet.
Food: I know staffing is a struggle right now for them (like many others statewide), but wow when they are open. I recommend the Meat Lover’s Skillet and sub the sausage gravy for hollandaise. They do not hold back! We also had a few lattes (and were very surprised to hear no charge for guests on coffees)!
Cell service: not the reason you come to the Keweenaw, but thought it was worth noting that with Verizon we had solid connection in and around Eagle Harbor, while in Copper Harbor absolutely no connection but on restaurant wifi.
