“This just might be the best McDonald's store in the country - perhaps the world. Everything is always spotless and clean, gleaming so brightly it practically blinds you when you walk in. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, providing fast and efficient service. The food is always fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. Best of all, unlike most stores where you return to the counter to pick up your food when it's ready, they actually bring it to you. You're given a sign to put on your table and someone brings your food out when it's ready. A nice touch, and something you don't find at many fast food places these days. Whoever runs this store is doing a bang-up job, and should be given a nice raise and sent around to train workers at other stores. A+”

“Great restaurant on main road right around the corner from our vacation rental. Real home cooked food, the chicken soup with home made noodles was great, the tuna salad, home made chips and everything else the 4 of us had was awesome. Service good, considering they like so many other restaurants in UP were short staffed due to people not wanting to work. Ladies bathroom was really nice. Be sure to stop in!!!”

We showed up past 10pm not knowing they close then and the owner, Curt, offered to make us some nachos. He opened the place back up just for us, and that level of kindness and service is so rare these days. Thanks so much to Curt for feeding these hungry Midwesterners! And the nachos were amazing!!”
