Barley & Rye

We were in Ludington for an extending weekend for my birthday and we decided to check this place out. I've very glad we did! Nachos were amazing, large portion and a good price. They also have a great birthday drink special worth checking out, I recommend the cosmopolitan!!

This place is a little crazy because it's connected to 2 other restaurants/bars with an open floor plan, all owned by the same people/person, and they serve across the 3 businesses. Very cool in a way because you can go into any of them and get options from 3 places, but a bit inconvenient if you don't know what the other 2 serve. One is a bar that specializes in Michigan beers, while this one focuses on food and cocktails. Definitely worth a visit at least once, and a rotating beer menu makes it fresh each visit.

Have always enjoyed their other establishments. As a group of 11 we decided to try Barley & Rye. Were entirely satisfied with our meals and the service. Will definitely be back.

-Update they halved the menu and kept the wrong half, tragic. Original review - Unrivaled whiskey and scotch selection in the area. Connected to the Mitten bar so large beer selection as well. Very good menu and food. It's bar fare, but delicious.

A great place on the main strip to stop and eat with a cozy atmosphere! The food was amazing. I sat at the bar which offers full service. The bar tender was very polite and speedy. The food came out very fast and delicious. I ordered the Mexican salad with house smoked pulled pork on top. Holy cow, it was fantastic. Would definitely stop in and enjoy the place again!

Edit: have come here three more times. It keeps getting better and better! The Brisket Grilled Cheese is probably one of the best things I’ve ever tasted in my life.
