“Love this place! I like the selection of books there. A lot of older children’s books and a good selection of classics. The coffee shop inside is a definite plus.”

“Was doing a trip around lake Michigan and had the luck to stop by and try their steak. I had many steaks in my life and this was definitely in the top 3. Good job guys keep up the good work. Can't wait to be back in town and stop by again. 10 stars!!!”

“I ordered 2 Pizzas. One pepperoni and another the ultimate pepperoni. Couldn't tell the difference between the 2, and one was partially burnt. I was expecting better for the price. Sounds like they need to fire some kitchen staff and get some decent workers who actually care about their job.”

“We got there right in time, the place seemed to fill up quickly after we got seated on a Friday, mid-morning. The waitress was very welcoming and kind. We ordered the Brad's Skillet and Homemade Corned Beef Benedict. The Brad's Skillet was delicious, but the Corned Beef Benedict knocked it out of the park and that's coming from someone who normally doesn't care for Corned Beef!!”

“Have been coming for years. I've tried many different dishes but since they make THE best Reuben I have tasted, in my 61 years on Earth, I don't bother with the menu. Ambience is different than anything in town. Even the restrooms are decorated in colorful nostalgia. John is such a wonderful chef and humanitarian it's no wonder his dill havarti cheese soup can be found on the tables of soup suppers and other charitable functions which include food. They also use an array of coffee mugs which do not match and, since I collect coffee mugs, I just have tantalizing anticipation of what I will be drinking from. I said all that to say this... It's an absolute must have experience.”

“My boyfriend & I wanted a nice relaxing weekend away and that’s just what we got staying here! The owners were SUPER nice and we were very impressed with everything the minute we stepped in the door. We had never been to a bed and breakfast before so we had no idea what to expect but we were blown away with the hospitality they provided. Don’t get me started on the breakfast as well! It was amazing!! We will definitely come back!!”

“Pretty good for what they do. If it is school time there is a high chance that there will be a huge line. Generally faster if you get out and wait in the line in the front, and not waiting in the "Car Line". It also helps with the issue that comes about when there is a line from there to the intersection.”

“Great service! The owner was super friendly and made sure everything was good. We didn't have a wait long for our food to get to our table. The pizza itself was amazing!! They do not skimp on loading it up with toppings! You could tell all the toppings were fresh. Will definitely return here if we vacation back to the area!”

“Visited here two weeks ago. Beach was amazing and the water was cool. Beach was clean and had even been raked. The bathrooms were well maintained. The oversized beach chairs made for a great photo op. It was close to the lighthouse which was a nice scenic walk. The little snack shack was a great reprieve from the heat and the ice cream was delicious. There were volleyball nets down the beach a ways and a playground on the other side of the pier sidewalk. A very nice beach to visit.”

“Great ice cream selection. Fun indoor interior. A huge huge huge menu. You can find something for anyone and everyone. Try to keep in mind food quality will go down with the # of choices offered. The ice cream is awesome though. Can be a bit pricey but one visit a summer won't break the bank and will give you that fun summer experience (:”

“Sweet, intimate restaurant. Nice decor. Great service. Bartender seemed to enjoy making his tasty creations! Very good food & very nice presentation of everything! Enjoyed all of our food! Crabby Chips were wonderful. Incredible Collard Greens!! She Crab Soup was superb! Can't wait to visit again & try more creations. Reservations needed.”

“French toast or grilled cheese with their homemade bread is great. Try the grilled cheese with cream cheese added to it. It's good. Tabitha is a great server. Seated quickly and food arrived pretty quickly. I do think the restaurant could use a makeover. It hasn't changed since I was a kid. Food is just as good as it always has been, though.”

“Hands down the best Thai food I have ever had. It is a very small place. The owner was very friendly and was nice to chat with while I was there. This place is FINALLY a Thai place that gets spicy right. They run a scale on a 1-10 and the owner specifically said he made the scale to have a properly spicy dish when you get to 6/10. I highly recommend this place! The noodle dish I got was very flavorful and my friends enjoyed it as well.”

“We were in Ludington for an extending weekend for my birthday and we decided to check this place out. I've very glad we did! Nachos were amazing, large portion and a good price. They also have a great birthday drink special worth checking out, I recommend the cosmopolitan!!”

“The food was delicious. Service was very good. They didn’t have linguine? The atmosphere was basic - needs an upgrade. Very good value for the money. We would come again.”

“Always a good experience here, a family favorite, but today they went above and beyond and made me a wonderful pizza, with all my random topping requests and vegan substitutions. The staff was more than willing to help out, and wait time was minimal. Big menu. It's definetly not vegan, but they will modify however you ask them to. I'd call it a vegan-friendly menu, with many options for anybody, and good service. Great night out.”

“We were impressed, having only eaten here once before. Our server, Jason, was attentive and kept checking back while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. The food was better than expected, whitefish dip, lobster nachos, burger, everything we had came out fresh and tasted delicious.”

“This place is the epitome of dive bar! We stopped in for dinner on our anniversary trip to Ludington. We got exactly what we expected: cheap drinks, greasy food and old decor. Everyone was super nice. we would definitely return, but earlier - we were there around 9pm.”

“Stopped in at the Grand, and just WOW! It’s not the fanciest place, but the food was amazing! I thought the Rachel looked like an interesting sandwich to try, and was blown away by how good it was. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten, and I’m a fat guy so I’ve had a few. Great food and friendly service. What more do you need?”

“Amazing place, food, and service. The chopped pork was amazing. It was perfectly cooked. The were very serious about accommodating my allergies which can sometimes be a lot of work. The customer service is top notch so friendly and enjoyable to be around! Thank you for the amazing food”

“I had the stuff French toast with strawberries and cream cheese. It was excellent and I would highly recommend this dish. This is the first time I've been here and I have not tried anything else. Sometimes there's a wait between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. so the food must be good and other people like it. The staff is hospitable and friendly and the food is a reasonable price.”

“After being sat we waited about an hour to get our kids meals and appetizers. Had to ask a few times when it would be, had manager come over tell us he'd make it happen. After that another 35 min and we had to ask when our meals were coming, manager came back over told us it was up next and to just deal with it. So we did. Food came, everything was good except for a steak I ordered, asked for it to be medium cooked, came out literally cold in center. A 25.00 steak. Reluctantly I said to the manager after a bite that it was raw. He took my steak back and it came back in 3 hunks but was cooked, never did get the veggies that came with it. The owner then came over said tell me what I can do, I want to make this right. We told him it's his job to figure that out. The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars and not 1 is because he did comp the steak and our drinks, more than generous. I gave the waitress a tip of 25.00 the cost of my dinner because she was visibly frustrated and it wasn't her fault. My suggestion is if you're gonna go there be prepared to wait and wait a long time. I did appreciate the managers courtesy of doing what he did and told him so. I just think they need better communication and structure in their kitchen. It was visible from our seats and 2 of the had ear pods in and looked like they weren't even focused.”

“Atmosphere: The building is not only outdated, it's falling apart. The bar has you staring at a boring wall with nothing to entertain you. Staff: The bartender had no personality and didn't make any conversation, although I was the only person sitting there and it wasn't busy. Worker safety: CO2 gas bottles behind the bar. The caps were off and bottles not secured. The ceiling fan over the bar wobbles badly and will eventually fall to the ground. Food Quality: about 6/10 at best. I travel the country for work 200 days or more throughout the year. Pasta at Olive Garden is twice as good. Pricing: portion sizes are good but not on par with the quality.”

“Very clean location. Server was wonderful. Wish they hadn't been out of deep dish dough but we enjoyed what we ordered.”
