“I have tried Crusty's Pizza several times. This is probably the best pizza in the state. Stick to what you know if you like cheap pizza! This is home made crust, home made sauce, and the freshest ingredients. It is the best in the area for sure. You will not be let down. It is wonderful and worth a trip to Remus to get a locally owned hand made pizza. They are always trying new flavors and types of pizza.”

“I love the Johnny’s Markets Gas Stations. They are the Starbuck cafe of gas stations with a great selection of snacks and even beautiful flowers. And the bathrooms, that sold me the place, specially when you are driving hours to go to visit one daughter in one place and the son in another. And, if by any chance, you want more than snacks, they have a Jimmy John’s sandwich store inside too. Look at the bathroom and tell me why is a keeper. Enjoy it,”

“The Pizza was made fairly quickly, 15 minutes maybe less. The family loved all of the pizza from the toppings to the crust. We ordered regular crust (no added flavor)and it tasted quite nice. There is a new hot place to get your pizza in Big Rapids... It's Hungry Howie's!!! Also the manager gave both my kids Drawstring messenger bags that have the Hungry Howie's logo vary vary cool. Great service at this establishment.”

“While they carry same products as Fates in Remus where I live couple blocks away from store..I drive to Canadian Lakes to Hixson's Family Market..They carry some things that my store in town doesn't yet..Both have Our Family products and are comparable in price.. Over all clean and user friendly. Staff always eager to help if you need..I like shopping small town stores that have just as good of price as big chains.. I will definitely continue to visit on semi-regular basis”

“Been to R Place multiple times. I've always had great service and great food. Finally got the courage to try Gator Bites (fried Alligator) tonight, and oh my!! I don't know why I waited so long. Very, very delightful. The dipping sauce is to die for as well. The special tonight was fried cod with fries and coleslaw. Let's just say I didn't leave hungry and had to take leftovers home. Will continue to support this restaurant whenever I'm in Big Rapids. They have a great selection of seafood.”

“I am a huge fan of a family run, amazing golf and welcoming course. Not only that, the Currie family are huge supporters in the community with events for Special Olympics and so much more. If you are a Golf fan and appreciate the etiquette of golf this is a beautiful course to challenge yourself on. This is also a great setting for events of any kind. I would hope that you would enjoy it as much as I have over the past 3 years and it seem to get better every year.”
