We love Paz’s. Delicious food and the prices are awesome. Definitely something different than the chain restaurants offer. It’s always our family’s first choice for dinner out.
Okay, so listen guys. The food and service is great and all, but the real attraction is this dessert called halo-halo. It’s a heap of shaved ice, some kind of sweetened cream, candied fruits, beans, and coconut topped with a heap of what looks like taro ice cream...WHAT?! So delicious. This is seriously one of the most unique and special things in Big Rapids.
The shrimp kabobs were great. My husband had a chicken and noodle dish that he said was excellent, and that is saying a lot coming from him. Our server was excellent. We will definitely be back soon
Unique, delicious Filipino dishes. The shrimp kabob with steamed vegetables was excellent, and Paz serves up a different flavor profile than any other restaurant in BR.The sweet potato fries seemed unlike any other in town and looked to be homemade wedges.
I thought the food was tasty, the prices & service are fine. I didn't see a lot of choice for Asian Cuisine though. I am confused by that description (American and Asian Cuisine). The menu is hard to read with the font and the pictures don't represent your food well or even your "fancy" tableware. I would highly recommend changing the menu to a clean, simple, professional read. The biggest issue is the lighting on the outside of the building. Change the blue lights to something more appealing and approachable. The outside presentation of the building does NOT invite people in. In fact, the pictures on the website of the restaurant itself and then with the Pawn Shop in the background make it look like a "shady" place. Invest in the outside presentation that will help bring people in! In my opinion, someone Googling a good place to eat would NOT pick this place due to the outside presentation. I would like to see this restaurant succeed, so thought I would share.
