Great service! 4 out of 5 of us really enjoyed our meal! Unfortunately, the hamburger was pretty burnt and the bun was pretty bland. Otherwise, we loved the fish & chips, carne asada tacos, and sandwiches!! Very pretty location. Will visit again!
Absolutely LOVE Bitter Tom's. Great atmosphere, incredible food (grass-fed beef, wild caught fish, organic veggies!)/drink menu, and top-notch staff. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome and like family. Kudos to the entire team at Bitter Tom's and HUGE thank you Sharon for helping us find our new favorite spot in town! Will be back soon and highly recommend!
Came in with 2 of my girlfriends after a long quarantine! We sat outside on the patio with the river view and our experience was nothing less then amazing! Food was great, atmosphere amazing! Not to mention our great waitress Kathleen made our experience so much fun! We will be back for more!
We tried here for the first time; take out being
the only thing you can try right now). The sandwiches were excellent (Bitter Tom and Tipsy Michigander). The starches were about as good as you could expect they would be, after sitting in a take away box for 15-20 minutes on the way home (popped them in the air fryer for the desired crispiness). We also tried the bacon and blue cheese guacamole and the maple boneless wings. Both had good flavor but the taste of the wings definitely was a big win for me. We will be back again for take out, but can't wait to try fresh.
I was excited to try Bitter Tom's after finding out about their opening from a couple months ago. We were immediately seated on a Saturday afternoon.
I ordered the Bitter Tom's Burger and was originally told that they were 'out' of that item, but then was reassured that they had it in stock.
The burger would have scored them a full 5 stars, however, the bun was completely blackened and burnt causing all of my taste buds to gravitate towards that instead of the 8 Oz. grass-fed beef patty, Bitter Tom’s whiskey BBQ pulled pork, smoked cheddar, and fried poblano strings.
Also, be sure to ask for several helpings of ketchup if you get fries or tater tots with your meal. They seem to only fill up the 3 oz. container halfway and will only give you one at a time. I'd suggest that they decide against rationing the ketchup at such an intense level. :)
Our server was attentive and the place was super clean. The decor is great as well! We parked near 20 Front Street in that public parking lot and walked over. There is street parking, but open spaces are far and few between.
