They have an amazing venue in a historic building in Downtown Lake Orion, their staff is second to none, and their food is fantastic! On top of all of that, they are incredibly generous, and donate to tons of local charities, non profits and community events. We've used them many times for catering, and they always knock it out of the park! We're lucky to have this wonderful restaurant in our community!”

“My husband got a box of chocolates for me from Nutz About Chocolate for Valentine’s Day. It was packed with my favorites, which he picked out, and was extremely reasonably priced. It was by far a better deal (both in price, quality and presentation) than the heart boxes you get at the grocery store. In addition to the chocolate box, I purchased a few items there for my husband for Valentine’s Day (neither of us knew the other had stopped at the shop). I got the chocolate covered strawberries that were the best I’ve ever had- and I must admit, I really do love chocolate covered strawberries and have tried many different brands. Then box I purchased had 6 very large, red chocolate covered strawberries that had the perfect amount of juice. These were clearly made within hours of buying them, and that freshness made the presentation and taste extraordinary. I also got the “milk chocolate bacon box.” The box had two types of products. One was chocolate cover bacon strips - and combination of crisp bacon & chocolate is wonderful. The other was chocolate covered pretzels, peanut butter and bacon pieces. That was unexpected and delicious. We already love the chocolate covered peanut butter cups at Nutz, but these were simply amazing. All-in-all, Nutz About Chocolate is a fun store to poke around, has gift boxes that are well presented and thoughtful, delicious chocolates and cupcakes, AND they get their raw materials and packaging from sustainable resources. In addition, I stopped by the shop around 5:30 pm on Valentine’s Day, and the owners, Tina and Joe, were pleasant and patient with each customer (and there were many)...even after what I can only imagine was a VERY hectic shopping day (seeing as how Valentine’s Day is all about the chocolate and flowers!).Thanks Nutz About Chocolate for a great Valentine’s Day shopping experience!”

“I was very hungry so I ordered the steak and really didn't expect much but wow was I surprised at how good it was. Just spectacular in flavor. I dipped it in my own little concoction of sauces and had an extravagant dining experience here. I must say this is a well run restaurant with lots of helpful servers circulating about the table's. This place is multifaceted as it also has what may be the longest bar in Lake Orion and is fully stocked with well, everything and I mean everything so if you just wanna watch one of the dozens of flat screen TV 's or socialize at the bar this place has it all. 5 stars for this one. They earned it with impressive service, beautiful decor and real gourmet Mexican dishes.”

“I usually don't buy their burgers. But, I decided to try one of the junior cheese burgers. It was over cooked, very thin, and it was so small ( it wasn't anymore than 2 inches square). I've never had a cheese burger that was so small! Their frosties are usually pretty good and on this trip, it wasn't disappointed in it. I don't visit Wendy's very often and because I usually prefer to grab a burger from a competitor. Wendy's does have good fries and even though I haven't bought anything from them for some time, I do recall how good their baked potatoes with chili and cheese is. That's all I have ever bought from them.”

“I went around 3pm on a Monday. The restroom was clean. One of the few McDonald's left with real paper towels in the bathroom. The food area was clean, someone was actually sweeping while I waited. They had a number of young well groomed employees that were polite and knew what they were doing. There was a manager person near by "directing employess" she was very sweet and polite to me. For that it's a little lighter on the pocket but still at a quality worthy of their other places. Each time I go to these places I change whose "side" of the menu I want. Both the steakhouse and the Seafood aspects are well balanced. You want a burger or a steak one night? Sure. You want the amazing crabcakes or the fish tacos another? Great! What's surprising is also how nice the pizza is. You won't be disappointed”

“Had a great breakfast while at the counter, which was empty when I sat down. It filled up quick b the cooks and wait staff were fast and efficient and got everyone fed fast. I will try the lunch menu next. They had 2-3 homemade soups available. The only disappointment was they did not offer Eggs Benedict my all time breakfast favorite. My wait staff even was dismayed that it was nit available. Plenty of great omelets and other breakfast greats offered. Good choice for good food with fast service”
